Lets say you get involved with an actor/actress or your partner gets offered an acting job. How accepting will you be of them playing the part of someone else's lover/partner?

How do you think other ppl are okay with it?

Myself I couldn't stand it. No friggin way, I'm a jealous person and before that I wouldn't want someone who was okay in pretending to be for someone else what he is to me.

I was actually thinking about this the other day and wondered how actors can deal with it. anyways.. dont think i can ever accept it. :os

Reminds me of the time an actor felt embarrassed in a kissing scene Cause the actress happened to be the director's wife. During the Kissing the director shouts CUT and he rushes to the scene and the actor goes to himself :"oh boy, here it comes." he then says to the scared actor: " what's the matter?, I need a real kiss more passion"

You know, I heard that when a guy and girl usually act in a movie as a couple or as lovers or whatever, they usually end up falling for each other.

Anyway, back to your question. Well, my husband can rest in peace cuz there is nooooo way I would ever act especially in a movie.. I am so not a camera person.

And about my husband, well... first of all, what happened to our religon? I mean, where is his deen? Plus, I dont want to be with someone famous or a tv star.. then he wont have any time for me :(

As innocent as this may seem I used to argue strongly when I was 13 that a kiss in any movie is not real , that it is part of the hollywood magic. Perhaps there was a layer above their lips to not actually kiss each other. The fuel of my strong arguement, was that there can't be human beings kissing each other unless they were in love! Now, I have grown up and realized that it ain't that special.

well.. how they do it.. they are professionals, so they gotta do their job.. if u feel awkward doing something like that, then u just arn't a professional.. and u could lose alotta parts that way, so either feel shy or jealous or whatever and lose out on millions, or .. just DO IT! :)

OK, I admit it. Even though it would obviously disgust me *cough*, I would, if given the ten million dollars up front, snog Reese Witherspoon in her undies as if I meant it. It's a dirty job, but if that kind of money's involved then I'd have to consider the long term interests of my nearest and dearest.

I used to think it was a camera trick or something cuz I couldn't imagine a man and woman who were not married kissing each other. The thought had never even crossed my mind! I don't remember who finally broke it down to me but my friend cracked up when I confessed to her last year (thinking she'd grown up thinking the same but she hadn't :shy: ).
