Chauvinistic men at the time of the writing of the Hadiths have had many fabrications added to the Hadiths books. These fabrications like all the others in the Hadiths books reflect their personal desire to put limits and control on the women even if it results in giving the wrong religious teachings that has nothing to do with the Quran.

Righteous men and women can spot these fabrications easily and can never be misguided as long as they can use the words of God in the Quran as reference.

God clearly stated in the Quran why he allowed such fabrications as we can see in 6:112-113;

[6:112] We have permitted the enemies of every prophet - human and jinn devils - to inspire in each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.

[6:113] This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions.

Then God reminds us in the strongest words that this Quran is the COMPLETE word of God and that we should not seek any other source for law other than the Quran. See 6: 114-115

[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

[6:115] The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope we will be able to find the truth by discussion not by fanatic fights, Insha Allah.
Let us see some of the Hadiths that is used often by traditional Muslim men in dealing with the women. These hadiths completely reflect a whole different religion than the truth in the Quran as we will see. Islam (Submission) should never be blamed for this kind of false teachings and fabrications as they have nothing to do with the words of God in the Quran that actually teaches the opposite for what is stated in these hadiths books.
HADITHS and comments:
(1) "If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter Paradise." This Hadith was narrated by Um Salmah/At Tirmidhi.
The truth is clear, God never said in the Quran that obeying your husband is a criterion to enter paradise. Relations between the wife and the husband comes from the mutual respect and love that God talked about in the Quran. If going to paradise involves cooking the favorite food of the husband, massaging his feet , and allowing him to take a second or third wife, this could be an easy way out of all the religious duties. That is what Satan wants to put in the minds of those who do not want to follow the Quran. If it is good enough to please the husband to enter paradise, then there would be no need for doing salat, fasting, zakat or Hajj. Why go the difficult and un-guaranteed way?
(2) "Had it been permissible that a person prostrates before another, I would have ordered that a wife prostrate before her husband." (Abu Hurairah/AT Tirmidhi)
That is another criterion to get to paradise as Hadith books claim. You can see the discrepancies between the greatness of God and the inferiority of man when you compare this statement that is claimed to be what the prophet Muhammed said and the words of God in 30:21
"Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts LOVE and CARE towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who THINK."
Did they forget what God teaches in the Quran:
"...do not reverence human beings; you shall reverence Me (God) instead...." Quran 5:44, 9:18
3)"If a man orders a woman to lift a mountain she should be ready to lift it."
That means to enter paradise , you should be ready to lift a mountain otherwise your husband would not be happy with you. What this has to do with Islam (Submission) where the submission is only to God, and where God is telling us that He is treating the women equal to men. What is this about the weaker sex ?!
(4) "A woman should not fast except with her husband's permission." (Abu Hurairah/Bukhary, vol 7 #120 )
Where in the Quran is this order. Where in the Quran does God say that a wife would not be responsible for her own sin if she listens to her husband. The order for fasting in the Quran goes to both men and women. God holds every mature person responsible for his own deed. God told us repeatedly in the Quran that on the day of Judgment people will always blame somebody else for their fall, but this does not help. see 2:166-167
While these alleged Hadiths are trying hard to degrade women and make them a lower class than men, while claiming that is what wii get these women to Paradise, God completely protected the women and made them equal to their fellow men. Read and meditate on 9:71
"The believing men and women are ALLIES OF ONE ANOTHER. They advocate righteousness and forbid evil, they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give Zakat and they obey God and His messenger. These will be showered by God's mercy. God is Almighty, Most Wise."
Those who refused to believe God when He said His book is complete, perfect and fully detailed, do not deserve except what they get from all these fabrications in Hadiths books. The prophet Muhammed will complain to God from them on the day of Judgment as we read in 25:30.
If you know the prophet Muhammed from the Quran you know he could not have said these contradictory statements. We should have respect to the prophet Muhammed , believe the Quran, hold to the Quran ALONE and dedicate our worship absolutely to God ALONE (http://www.submission.org/women/wives.html).
i'm not saying this is a useless thread Hasanain, There wont be a useless thread ever in my opinion, cause what might seem useless to me, others can benefit from. It's all by how you percieve it, didn't meant to sound like that but the point is why do you think its important for me to read such things when i truely believe and devote in islam.. I will only ask such questions when i don't believe in a thing, you can't contradict yourself, by saying i'm truely believing in something then ask questions about why it's that way, when you believe in it, you believe its right. you see what i'm saying?
Hey Islam doesn’t mean Hadith dear; and there is different Hadith right?
I follow the Quran and believe in Muhammad (PBUH) not in whatever people wrote by selling Prophets name.
Sorry dear Najah, I apologize if you are hurt. But I believe you should follow Allah’s rules not contaminated theories of human (To err is human).
Our prophet did not write down his sayings. Later after his departure many so called followers Compiled Hadith and, as there were politics and jealousy and selfishness it’s obvious that the Truth being shaded colored.
Dear Hasanain, I don't have a prove right now in my hand but it will be here soon after i finish my tests inshallah. (if anyone can help please go ahead)..
Simply in islam we believe in : Quran, Hadeeth, Ijma3 and Qiyas.
They all complete each other if you read quraan precisly you will find it stated in there. Many things we go by in islam comes from hadith, you can never ever say that people came after the prophet Peace be upon him and fabricated things!!! THose people are Sahaba, they wrote it and they are thiqah....
Anyhow, I wasn't hurt at all, I was just clarifying things out. don't red point me for this too!! :p
hey sorry to interrupt, but hasnain, there r different levels of hadeeth...
not all of them r correct, some ppl who aint afraid of ALL@H (AWJ) made up such things so they can reffer to them when they wanna do anythin wrong...
and some of them are weak because the one who told the hadeeth was old, so they consider it that because his memory might not be "functionin :scratch:" the proper way
and there r many other levels of the hadeeth, ama leave it for ice tea to tell u cuz hez the man at these subjects
i agree with illa kilaa, i shouldve mentioned the levels of hadeeths but Hasainain's last post seemed to be very much against all hadiths, not a single one, thats why i focused on what i wrote.
We should have respect to the prophet Muhammed , believe the Quran, hold to the Quran ALONE and dedicate our worship absolutely to God ALONE.
He capitalized ALONE and that was my point..
( note, u didnt have to green me, but thanks anyways :))..
