A very conflicting thought occurred to me...

A thought occurred to me which I'm really not sure about. As many of you know, I'm homosexual so therefore I'm not attracted to women. Given that, no matter how much skin is shown by the woman will arouse me. Its not like I am deliberately go and look at women, but lots of girls are showing too much skin everywhere to begin with. Does this mean that I don't get as much sins seeing that skin since I don't get aroused by it? What about with guys, does it mean that I'm supposed to look away when someone good-looking passes by so that I don't get aroused (even if he's fully clothed, just mn bab '3ath el b9ar)? Seriously guys, this just occurred to me and its really making me confused.

What about with guys? I mean, its inevitable that i'm going to meet someone who i like even if he is completely dressed from head to toe. Is that bad as well?

Yeah, I think you should look away from anything that might arouse you whether the holder is female or male.

And even if a female doesn't have an effect on you its best to turn away to be away from shubha.

Well, I do turn away from girls who are overtly undressed. But come on, how can I do that with guys? it would be just too weird, especially since alot of them are college mates and stuff.

Why would Allah sin you for something out of your control? You can't control how you feel.

However, you must take care to stay away from any sort of thing that might arouse you and if it does happen anyway unexpectedly, you should remove yourself immediately from the situation; mentally or physically.

Allahu a3lam, i don't want to ifty or anything in this term, allahu A3lam but geting aroused means alot. I can't imagine geting aroused by just looking at normal peaople daily in my life (I'm talking about girl side), anyhow I heared or what i know it counts against you. I think someone should ask deeper in this, don't just say No its not a sin. Anyhow, like the last few sentence's in Enigma's Post try to avoide getting yourself in such a situation, and like Hitman Said Inama ala3malu bilniyat, so gather your intentions and nothing to wory about inshallah.

(I'll try and ask for you, but i remember some sheikh was asked before and he said its not right, but inshallah i will double check for you)..

I think that you have to wake up and see the reality, what are you talking about? Aren't you a man? Don't say I am Homosexual, don't deceive your self and the people around here that this is a fact. There is nothing call "I am a homosexual". You are a way into darkness then, or you are trying to make it a fact in our life, and sure it will not be. If you don't feel that you are turned on by looking into women that means you are sinking deep into such a forbidden pleasure. We have never seen a male animal having sex with another male animal, you know why? Because they are straight and they are not sick minded.

Wake up and get red of your silly thoughts, if you are trying to believe yourself and have and excuse for your sick minds, then it is not us you play such a game on them. There is nothing is called "Homosexual", we don't have such a word in our Arabic dictionary, or in our Islamic dictionary or in Quran or Hadeeth. What we have is only a curse from Allah for those men who act like women, and those women who act like men.

This is Horrible and really we need to stop such thoughts from spreading amongst us, and let me tell you that this disease of Homosexuality have one cure which is to be tied to a wall and to be bitten hard till these thoughts come out of your brain. YOU UNDERDTSND ME!

My advice to you is to be a good Muslim and to use this Ramadan to adjust your brain and emotions otherwise you are in deep trouble.

With all due respect, I say you are being completely ignorant to everything I kept on saying the first month or so I've been here. I can see that this discussion is leading to nothing but more falming about homosexuality. as i always say.. if u cant understand and 'respect' then best is to stay out .. cause no one will ever really know what its like.. no matter how much knowledge he/she has.. untill he/she is in the other person's shoe.
