Yesterday I got a message and try to open the inobx as usual to read it, but it just freeze when trying to open the inbox then after sometime the mobile switch off and after 1 sec approx swtich on automatically :lost:.

What is the reason and how to get my inboz back to read sms?

Did you bring it to a store, maybe a specialised help might help...

or it might need to be updated(which will format your phone anyway)

Well, my phones a nokia and it always freezes when I try to open my inbox and then It either switches off itself or If it doesnt, I switch it off. But when i switch it on, I am able to go into my inbox, I think your phone is more retarded than mine. Buy a new one!

i dunno everytime i had a problem with my phone it would get formated for some reason

Normally, you receive a corrupted file. If you were lucky that file would be stored in the memory card and all you need to do is format the memory card.
You can use some softwares to get as much data you have in there and transfer them to your PC.

If you were too UNlucky, then you have everything on your phone waved off and you start as a new bie :)

Just an update about this!

The mobile inbox back to normal.

I called LG workshop in Ghala and the guy guided me how to reset to factory settings with the SIM out of the phone, he gave me a code to excute when switched on to reset to factory settings.


Now anyone of you was trying to send me sms can try it now it should work :p

No, I didn't ask for the reason and I doubt they will really know. I guess it's something normal like the PC sometimes you need to restart to solve a problem.

Is it true that a mobile can get avirus ? Maybe its avirus since I had the same problem as well with my Nokia 6610 ....

if you have a symbian series 60 phone (nokia 7650, 3650, 3660, 7610, etc)
there is a virus called Cirbe, this virus slows down the phone and disables bluetooth and shortens your phones battery life...

hasooon as stated above I have LG W3000 mobile, and the problem solved by reseting the phone to factory settings. If anyone got same type of mobile and experience same problem PM me and I will charge 5 rials only to fix it :).

well I have nokia 7250, and from time to tome something weird happens, like somone would call and the song would keep on going even if the person closed the line !!
it would go after I restart the phone, close it and open it again.

yah and my husband has sony ericssion and sometimes the keys dont work .. he had to send it to where he bought it .. and they told him it was becaue the memory was full.
