Im looking for a good mobile service for the UK. Now Im not sure if it differs from area to area, but I'll be in the South of England. i want a service which is mostly cheap on international calls - thats more important than local calls. So a service which has local calls more expensive, and international calls somewhat cheaper would be appreciated. Cheers.

I don't really think that there are mobile providers who actually have cheap international call rates. When people do around here is use special international calling cards that they purchase from other shops to make international calls. International calling cards vary, and you can even purchase some pretty good ones from the internet.

Calling cards would be prepaid, is that what you mean? thats good enough. I plan to call Oman a lot, can you give me some examples (if possible)?

These cards are prepaid cards that you can use to call from any line, mobile phone, public phone, etc. They are not like a prepaid service from a mobile phone service provider;mobile phones are a whole different issue.

I've recently bought this card for 5 pounds and it gave me about 50 minutes to talk to Oman.
