Equalty between man and woman

Salami all,,,,,nowadays alot of girls wanna be equal to guys,,,,,i strongly disagree with this,,,,,first of all Islam doesn't make the man and the woman in the same level and also guys have more responsiblities and God said so,,,,we have alot of girls say that nothing is diffrent, but in fact yes there ARE alot of diffrences and we all believe what God said ( wa en kuntuum 3ala 7aaq fa estashehedooo ethnaan men regalekoom fa een laam yakoon faragoloon wa emra2ataan)

I am sorry that you got the wrong idea. Let me start by saying that men and women are like lemon and lime, they are similar but different. Difference does not necessarily imply inferiority or superiority. It is a statment of a fact, for example: you and your brother are different from each other and each one of you has different strengths and weaknesses, this does not mean that you are not equal to your brother. Furthermore, why did you look at the quranic verse in that negative term and take out of context? why could not you remeber that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that men and women are two halves and that women are sisters to men. This relationship or association would definitely take any superiority from men. My point here is we are what we think. Islam is much kinder and greater than we attribute to it. We need to look at the powers and faculties of women and harness them in an appropriate manner. For your information I am not a woman.

Men and womwn are equal, and Islam is the only Religion to give women their proper rights and respect in the society, both men and women have similar rights, there is only a difference in their duties and responsibilities, man is the bread winner, and the woman is the home maker, both of them are like complementary to each other.

When we talk of women in general we should thing that they could be our mothers, sisters, and daughters other than wives. So proper treatment and respect is required on both sides, only then the muslim ummah can come up in life in reality rather that just principles. So lets all make it a point to consider that Islam has given a woman her place in society and lets help her reach that place, we only got to support her, to be a part of our lives on equal footing, rather than looking down on her as the captilists do in the western society.

I would appreciate if all of us can talk freely without any prejudice, its discussions which open doors to knowledge, and practising what you believe makes one a succesful person, whoever it is, a man or a woman.

Why girls in acceptance to Oman UNiversity are not treared equally?
Girls with average appraoching 90% in grade 12 have been rejected a seat in the pathetic university and the reasen was the acceptance grades for girls are higer ,,,****ing why?:@
...IT is pathetci and annoying ,,and really sad and unfair...and not everybody afford to study abroaod ,,but thanls to some uae universities,,,had given us some hope ,,particular west oman

katkoot, the average it set coz there should be a balance between the number of boys attending the uni and the girl, if they were set equally the whole uni will be filled with girls only. then again, boys don't get high grades as girls do, so sami7ena.
