What type of cable do I need to record Audio files from a CD to a casette ? Plz provide me with a pic of the cable if possible and how would you hook it up ? Thanks

Is this from a CD to a cassette? or a PC to a cassette?

Alot of the old stereo systems that have a CD and a tape deck can easily record from a CD to a tape. So, if you have one of those lying around somewhere you may not need to use your PC to do what you want.

Am not sure but i think he ment from PC to cassette on the fly.

The problem is not with the cable but with the device you are using to record to. I don't know of any type of recording devices available in the market, that is the problem.

Well basically I meant recording from a PC where my Audio files are saved to a cassette. EviliO, do you have any idea where can I find this cable in Oman ?

I don't think it's a problem with finding a recording devices because usually cassette players have an input for Line-in/CD which I think it might be used for this purpose ..Correct me if I'm wrong

You are right, then for the cable it is in Ruwi at the Dish and receiver shops.
There were some in sultan centre. it is with two jacks from one side (for Stereo) and normal headphone jack from the other side.

I thought the cable is with three jacks as Evilio showed ...I can check myself in Sultan Center ..thx

Am aint sure where you can find one of these in oman.
But surely if you try one of the electronic shops you might find one.

Try City Centre, am sure they would have one of these.

Believe it or not My cable(Same what er are talking about) I did purchase it from the "Kymjeese' supermarket in wadi kabeer, just before the vegetable market. that was 1 year ago.
