View Full Version : Ragnarok Online Milliardo Peacecraft 30-08-04, 04:07 AM Surprisingly, no one has posted about this yet. Anyone here plays this game? DeSerTDesTroYeR 30-08-04, 09:18 AM I checked it out over two years ago, just couldnt find myself interested in playing it.. Its quite addictive and could be fun to play though. So far I only know 2 people who play it.. my friend and his little brother :D Milliardo: you play? How is it? How far did you reach... tell us about it. Milliardo Peacecraft 31-08-04, 04:34 AM So far, level 17 archer with job level at 11. I'm playing at the pRO (Philippine Ragnarok Online), which is the official RO server here, though I also play Ragnarok Offline (hehe!)--it's now making the rounds here, wherein you have a private server client so you can either play by yourself without going online, or use your comp as a server for others (am not doing that though, as it's illegal). pRO is just slow, as many complain, so more are now either switching to private servers (most of which are free) or playing offline (like me). CrazyReD 31-08-04, 08:24 AM whats the game like care to give us any info?? Vamp 31-08-04, 10:46 AM I'v just uninstalled it a week ago or so. I didnt understand exactly what to do, where to go, how to level-up..etc. Though my little bro is asking me to reinstall it again. How good is it Milliardo? I found it a bit complicated Milliardo Peacecraft 31-08-04, 01:19 PM The game is a MMORG, so more or less you have an idea what it is like. If you're familiar with Baldur's Gate--it's somewhat like that. Sprites are done anime-style, which would attract anime fans. The game's main point, like most MMORGs, is to meet people and join in parties and guilds. There are two ways you level up: the base level puts up your stats, while the job level puts up your skills stats. Not really as complicated as most MMORGs. Main problem is that there are no good FAQs out there, so most newbie players are on their own. It would be nice if you can ask other players, but it's quite rare to find those willing to help out. CrazyReD 31-08-04, 10:18 PM sounds intresting will try and find it Milliardo Peacecraft 01-09-04, 06:35 AM http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/r_main.htm for the iRO (International Ragnarok Online) site. http://www.levelupgames.ph/ for the pRO site. In both cases you have to sign up first then download all the files--around 600mb for the RO client server and another 20+mb for the Sakray client server. Both are needed, as well as the patches. Can be a pain to download if you're using 56kb modem. You can get the Sakray test client server CD if anyone is offering it on eBay--it is free for every 300 pesos purchase here in the Philipines, but I am sure some people will sell this on eBay. :D Would save you all that hassle of downloading 600+mb worth of files. CrazyReD 01-09-04, 06:59 AM nah it's ok i've cable connectoin >8] thnx for the sites will start dlin soon Milliardo Peacecraft 01-09-04, 08:40 AM Okay, tell me how it is. RO isn't for everyone, though if you like anime I'm sure you'll love this. CrazyReD 01-09-04, 08:52 AM http://www.levelupgames.ph/ won't open but i saw the screen shots looks nice and i'm a big fanof anime espeically Naruto and FMA Milliardo Peacecraft 01-09-04, 09:24 AM Funny, it opens up perfectly on mine. Maybe you should try again later. CrazyReD 01-09-04, 09:25 AM for some reason i get page can't be displayed Milliardo Peacecraft 02-09-04, 02:57 AM Try accessing iRO; it might work. If not, you can find one of the many private servers for RO. CrazyReD 02-09-04, 04:20 AM k i'll try it either later today or tom I downloaded evil genuis demo wanna try that to seems to be a new gaming concept |
