This is basically to answer what IF Doom was frst created during 2000 and not early 90's. it basically follows the same story. I've been playing it for about a week now it really is nerve wrecking those monsters are somthing but all in all it's fun just an advice don't play it with a surrond system in the dark you might seriously get a nervous breakdown ;)
the only downside to this game is that it requires the latest graphics card other then that I'm really enjoying it

yeah i got on the pc the console version isn't out yet it'll only be out on the xbox (for graphic reasons) I wouldn't recomend the requirments are as follows 1.5-gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 chip or AMD Athlon 1500, 384 megabytes of memory, two gigabytes of hard drive space, an nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or better or an ATI Technologies 8500 or better. If you're still keeping a GeForce 2MX/4MX and an older Pentium III in your PC, now's the time for an upgrade and here are a few tips. The ideal rig would include a 3GHz Intel Pentium 4 or a 3000+ AMD Barton, 1GB of RAM, a 6800 or X800 GPU based video card, the latest sound card from Creative (Audigy 2 ZS), a Western Digital Raptor (or 2 in a RAID setup), a DVD drive and the best peripherals money can buy (keyboard/mouse). A nice 19" monitor supporting a decent resolution at a higher refresh rate is a must also.
well not much difference it's basically the same just crepier thanx to the graphics same mosters i hate those fire throwing monsters really annoying. the new kool feature i liked is the use of a pda where u get missons on it and e-mails and you can view some video's that you find around oh and not to mentoin safe codes and security access's

That sounds like a great deal. But thats something we can discuss more in PM... ;)
Now, about DOOM, whats the objective of this game again? Are the Graphics as good as Time of Sand (Prince of Persia) for example?

I would say better. the objective well at first you start as a new recruit sent to mars but then (as usual) something goes wrong and where i'm at i've to make contact with an army team that has survived the attack. will expand more on this once i reach furthur in the game :P

wow almost a year
well you r given various missions throughout the game from sending transmitions to fixing power cores the last level is in hell itself (about to reach ther :D) weapons are kool I just love the PDA feature if you love FPS this is a must
now some probs to play it on the pc you really need high specs but i've been playing on the xbox and it's really smooth graphics are crips and clean and i don't feel it's any inferior to the pc version

If you don't think that it is inferior to the pc version that is only because you haven't tried it with high quality settings and/or four player online, co-op just isn't that fun when you have to share your screen with someone else.
