View Full Version : Another good reason to not use frames ! jack 01-08-04, 02:14 AM Never liked using frames ... http://secunia.com/advisories/11978/ EviliO 01-08-04, 05:58 AM This is really interesting! Now under this, the page might be appearing as a trusted site where the "security lock" would appear if i understood it correctly. DeSerTDesTroYeR 01-08-04, 10:38 AM interesting for sure, thx for posting this jack, though ok am I lost or is IE 6 got this issue covered... its not even mentioned there. Except the version 5 for mac. M-Pac 01-08-04, 04:34 PM try the test then to see i'm using IE 6.0 and tried the test..... and FAILED !!! so WATCH OUT !! jack 01-08-04, 04:46 PM try the test then to see i'm using IE 6.0 and tried the test..... and FAILED !!! so WATCH OUT !!Yes my version of IE 6.0 failed also. I really don't see this as some huge "security" risk. It really is just opening another window in a frame. But if you do web design ... I do see it as another reason not to use frames. There are so many other better alternatives to achieve the same results you would use frames for. Orion 01-08-04, 09:43 PM Soo cool ... the power of the spoof draws me to it ... ;) Still, my version of IE 6.0 with Service Pack 2 for XP (RC2) seems to be 'plugged'. |
