In the developing world where most of country's population makes up the low class and poverty is widespread, families send their children to work in extreme low class jobs with hard labor most adults of the developed world refuse to contribute to. Though barely paid they serve as an important income source to their family. One of the REASONS people have lots of children in developing countries is so that they have more sources of income.
~ What do you think about this? What sort of problems, associated (or being results of) child labor are the most heart breaking & dangerous?
~ Should their be an age limit on labor or any other kind of working?
Parents should provide every thing for thier children. The children are thier responsibilty they should give them what they need no matter what . do not force your child to work he deserve a good childhood even if he was poor.

Child labor is plain bad. Its promoted in developing countries where a kid has to work to earn money to feed his/her family, whilst the recruiter makes most of the money for making cheap stuff for developed countries. Its just plain wrong ...
I just hate it when I see kids working in a totally un-ethical, un-hygenic environment ... period!

15 years old AT LEAST for labor jobs.

I had to prepare a presentation on child labour last term and what I found most heart-breaking is how the children themselves complained when the factories they were working for closed down because they employed children. Many of them said they want to work in order to help out their destitute families and were ungrateful to those who thought they were helping out the children by closing down the factories. I was surprised because I always had an image in my head of children being forced to do strenuous jobs.

I agree with Shinoda. 15 yrs should be the absolute minimum age for jobs that require hard labour.
