What do you mean by one internet line?? ..
Are you talking about the modem or do you mean the ID and the password?

What I understand is you have two computers, but one internet connection as in phone line. Assuming your talking about dialup connection here.

-----------------

For that you can create a network and the computer that dialup first shares the internet with the other.

Are we talking Windows XP here? Or some other windows??

Windows XP has an easy facility which requires few clicks to enable the internet share.

If its only 2 computers you can use a Crossover Cable, which can be used to connect 2 Pcs. But for that you would require a network Card in each PC.

here is a link of very useful site, which has step to step of how to work this whole thing out.

How to connect two computers (http://www.jimthompson.net/xphome/Two_Computers.htm)

This link is steps of how to share the internet: Link (http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/dialup/sharingdup.htm)

Let us know if you require more assistance.

good luck
