finding a HADEETH!!

dear brothers/sisters/friends...

can anyone help me find the hadeeth in which the prohet (pbuh) says its better to marry the far relatives and not the close ones...etc

I don't think there is a Hadith about this issue.

The hadith I know says :

"Do not marry a close relation or else your offspring be emaciated".

BUT, it is not mentioned in any of the authentic books.

I have looked around the net, but all I could find was :

Translation : that the generation following that of prophet Mohammed Peace Be Upon Him have noticed that when related ones got married weaker off springs were born, thats why many of wise men back then were quoted urging people to get married to those who they are not related to. There seems to be few Hadeiths that are allegedly traced back to our prophet Peace Be Upon Him. None, however hold valid and authinticated as I went around the net to find out what scholars said regarding the matter.
