No cross. How about a shirt with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge on it? But you have to answer the questions first.

Scottish 11-06-04, 08:54 AM How dare thee, questioning my faith. All my answers are correct, because I said so.
It is said that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to get into heaven.
Send me all your money and worldly goods and I will suffer in the hear after for you. Say yes!
I think it will be better if you allow members to search for the answers.
I want to get that t-shirt only :p

Inadversion has nothing to do with that. Yes, I made up the word inadversion. Because I still have my butthead religious hat on that says that I'm right, you are all wrong. Because I have faith that I'm right and fact has nothing to do with faith.
I am right, and my beliefs are better then your beliefs. My faith is correct, yours are all wrong. I received 100%. I had a dream last night that I was correct. So, it must have been God giving me the nod. I think I will call some friends to the pub and write down what I said......er.....what He said.
The angel Abner came down and whispered in my ear. So, I will relate it all down. Although he used alot of words like ambidextrous, philantropist and defenestration....those are the words I can spell.
He also told me the sea is salty because they hold His tears from all the people that kill in His name. Lightning; warnings of his wrath for those that can't see there are other paths, and lighting the night for those that follow his ways.
I'm right, you're wrong, my faith says so, so it is.
And yes. Leave my retarded goat alone. So he walks into walls, so, he has Tourettes Syndrome (Baa....f'n baa), it has a purpose. Just out of curiousity, I did placed a striped branch in my wifes drinking glass, but my daughter was not born with stripes. Still trying to figure out what went wrong.
Cetacea 11-06-04, 09:27 PM Shinoda, you are truly a disgrace. You got one right. Now go grazing with Scottish’s goat!
DeepBlueSea, I have to say I’m truly impressed with your performance. You got 8 out of 10. I don’t know your religious background, but you really understand how God works.
Moonie, stop making fun of others and get your answers in! Let’s see how well a Wicca can do on a Bible quiz!
This is your last day to take the quiz! I will post the correct answers tomorrow.
MoonChild 11-06-04, 10:07 PM I'm afraid I'd go Scotty's route and give the "right" answers, not the "Biblical" answers... and you see where that has gotten HIM, the poor bloke has clearly gone 'round the bend :p
OK, will take a stab at it after my meeting :)
Shinoda LP 11-06-04, 11:54 PM WoW, I beat Scotty to it! A whole one point lesser ... :p
Scottish 12-06-04, 01:10 AM I better take this hat off, I'm starting to speak in tongues.
Habada bibida, whamma bamma thanka ma'ama.
BLBLBLBLLBBLL

I'm still right, you're all wrong.
Don't worry Shinoda, my retarded goat is making all my money right now, with the striped spots.

ROFL I've had someone speak in tongues to me. i was surrounded by people praying over me, and someone was "translating".
they were all very serious about it.
I was creeped out and never went back ;)
Cetacea 12-06-04, 02:33 AM OK my answers What's the record so far, 1 correct?
So far we have:
DeepBlueSea 8 (Bravo!)
MoonChild: 5 (who claims that she grew up going to church!)
Socttish: 2 (Don’t know what they teach the Christians over there in Scotland)
Shinoda and Cute_One tied at 1. (One Hindu, one Muslim. What can I say. At least they were being honest, weren’t trying to get the right answers.)
since i'm the only one answering that grew up going to church i'm hoping I got a FEW right
How could you have missed #4? Did you forget about the story of Abraham, Hagar, Isaac, and the wilderness of Beersheba?
Obviously religion is not your cup of tea. Next time, put your statistician hat on and you might be able to get more right! Shinoda and Cute_One both missed 9, Scottish missed 8. You could’ve gotten more right by rule of elimination. LOL :gap:
MoonChild 12-06-04, 02:46 AM OK, so I only went to Sunday School (LUtherine LOL forgot how to spell it even), until I was 6. Then as a teenager... lets see Methodist, Baptist, Evangelical (my aunt, the one who speaks in tongues), Church of God.
You'd be amazed at how little actual bible teaching occurs in churches. I learned most of what I know as an unbeliever!
#4 - I guess for a moment I forgot we were talking "all bible" not just Christians. after all, the rules changed ;)
and i just answered the questions, didn't try to cross-eliminate ;)
Scottish 12-06-04, 02:53 AM Of course I know the story of Hagar. He can't drive 55 but has a great Tequila now.
Isaac sang the song "Shaft"
Abraham was a great President.
And I drank at Beersheeba and all I got was a lousy Tshirt.
By the way, I was in Arizona, and they had one of those things where they had the bloke holding rattlesnakes in his hands while in a box filled with rattlers. So, as a joke, I went out the desert a bit and caught my own rattlesnake and went.
In case you don't know, they put the rattlers in a fridge so they are lethargic when they're "performing".
Anyways, so the idiot is up there, he picks up two rattlers, and steps in the box claiming he has faith that the snake won't bite him. I stand up, shake my snake around and throw it in the box all irriatated and angry. That guy flew out of there.
They called the police on me. LOL.
BoboBinDreadAlRasta 12-06-04, 03:33 AM Its a Friday afternoon, why not:
Ooops, no cheating....
Scottish, how exactly did you catch the rattler? With your hands? With a cage? In the morning, noon, evening? Was it asleep? Near a rock?
Cetacea 12-06-04, 03:57 AM OK, I’m running out of patience. Your dismal performance (except DBS’s) greatly disappointed me. I’ll post Quiz 2 to give you a chance to redeem yourself. After you read the answers here and realize what losers you all are, you may move on to Quiz 2! Don’t forget to answer the bonus question in Quiz 2.
1. What type of blasphemy yields eternal condemnation?
Correct answer: D. (You can be forgiven for blaspheming Jesus, but blaspheming the Holy Ghost is unforgivable and begins your descent into the fiery abyss) "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come" (Matthew 12:31-32; see also Mark 3:28-29; Luke 12:10).
2. Which of the following insincere acts results in condemnation of your soul?
Correct answer: C. (Eating bread and drinking wine unworthily) "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. . . . For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh ****ation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body" (1 Corinthians 11:27-29).
3. Which of the following jewelry is worn for idolatrous purposes?
Correct Answer: B (Earrings.) “Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments . . . And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem” (Genesis 35:2-4).
4. Abandoning your family is a sin, unless:
Correct Answer: D (Any of the above) “Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac…And God said unto Abraham…harken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called…And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba” (Genesis 21:10-14). “Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin. Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?…Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business” (Nehemiah 13:25-30). “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26; see also Mark 10:29-30; Luke 18:29-30).
5. Why are there clouds in the sky?
Correct answer: B. (Clouds are God's footprints in Heaven and are made up of the dust from his feet) "The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet" (Nahum 1:3).
6. What does God say should happen to a master who beats his slave to death?
Correct Answer: C. (He should avoid all punishment if the slave survives for a couple days after the beating) “And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money” (Exodus 21:20-21).
7. What causes some goats to be striped or spotted?
Correct Answer: C (Placing striped or spotted tree limbs in goats’ watering troughs causes their babies to be born striped or spotted.) “And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut [sic] tree; and pilled white stakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted” (Genesis 30:37-39).
8. How many legs do insects have?
Correct Answer: C (Four.) “Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you” (Leviticus 11:22-23).
9. How big did God make the sun?
Correct Answer: D (Our eyes don’t deceive us. The sun is no bigger than it appears when we look up. In fact, it is so small that a single cloud could prevent it from bringing any light to the earth.) “And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light” (Ezekiel 32:7).
10. How high above the ground is Heaven?
Answer: B (Heaven is, at most, a few hundred feet above the ground, because people building towers before the discovery of electricity almost reached it.) “And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded [sic]. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” (Genesis 11:4-6).
Obviously, I didn't come up with the Quiz. Source will be revealed once we are done with Quiz 2.
Scottish 12-06-04, 03:58 AM LOL. About 9 am, with my hands., through it in a pillow case, out in the open, while we were heading for some rocks.
Cetacea 12-06-04, 04:00 AM I can’t believe everyone except DBS missed #8 “How many legs do insects have?” It is so friggin’ obvious! And don’t you send me a dead fly in the mail to prove your point. Facts don't matter here. Your little brains just aren’t good enough to observe Lord’s creations, and you apparently can’t tell the difference between 4 and 6!
BoboBinDreadAlRasta 12-06-04, 04:01 AM You are a nutter, mate! (Scottish)

LOL. It's that Marine training. Bloody rattlesnake bit me and a day later it died. LOL. It's not a big thing, it's just catching a rattlesnake. I also swam up to a gator in Florida and touched it on a bet.
By the way, every 2 years, I take my boys to Africa where we go boar hunting with spears, no firearms and we camp out in the savannah, surrounded by Hyenas and Lions. Hear them roar and cackle all night long.
Omg I did it without looking at Cetacea's answers and I only got the insect one right! :eyes:

Nice to see you on Sabla again. How is Oman treating ya?
Nothing intelligent I assure you lol, I just remember reading something online about the bible claming insects only had four legs' awhile back.
Oman's great thanks, its nice to be home! :color:
BoboBinDreadAlRasta 12-06-04, 05:02 AM The gator thing is not that big a deal. How long after you were bitten by the rattler did you get the antivenom injection? Where did it bite you? I have a few rattlers knocking around my backyard, and I leave them well enough alone. Africa sounds fun. Here we just have cayotes and bobcats. They seem to find it fascinating to watch me jogging.
