This was found in a foreign forum...

Assalamu alaykum everybody,

After much research, I have finally found my way in my spiritual journey. I went from Sunni to Shia to finally, Muslim, all praises due to the Lord of the universe. Here are my positions:

1. Allahu Akbar, is not to be found in Al-Qur-an.

2. Salat, is not an up and down, 5 times per day ritual prayer/activity, but actually means "commitments". There are no details, from beginning to end, in Al-qur-an, on how to perfom a raka unit.

3. Wudu is not to be found in Al-Qur-an.

4. The shahada used by the Muslims is un-Qur-anic.

5. There is no pilgrimage to Mecca.

6. The ahadith are haram/shirk.

7. There are no such thing as the five pillars of Al-Islam spoken of by Allah, in Al-Qur-an.

8. Zakat, means "purification" and not a religious tithe.

Salam

People are going insane now adays!...and he calls himself a muslim! its just sad to see ppl research using bad sources.

If a thee has taken a misleading path, such words would for sure affect their believes and faith.

Nothing suprising, there are even worse cases.

We can hope that, they can see the right path, inshallah.

What he said make no sense!!
I know many who spread those kind of e-mails or article try to shake the beleife of muslims .. Any way here are my comments regarding the point he raised:

6. The ahadith are haram/shirk

7. There are no such thing as the five pillars of Al-Islam spoken of by Allah, in Al-Qur-an.

This Ayah, is one of MANY in the Quran that ask us to follow Prophet Mohammed, and we follow him from his sayings ofcourse which are ahadith!

all what he said not mentioned in Quran are actually in Hadith (strong ones, accepted by all scholars!)

Al-Nisaa- 80
مَّنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللّهَ
Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah

5. There is no pilgrimage to Mecca.

Pilgrimage was mentioned in Quran too.. Its known from Hadith that its to Mekka!

Al-Haj 27

َأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيق
And proclaim among men the Pilgrimage: they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, coming from every remote path

.1. Allahu Akbar, is not to be found in Al-Qur-an.
so what?? Allah Akbar means Allah is the greatest .. and its something you would beleive in if you beleive in Quran automaticly!!

8. Zakat, means "purification" and not a religious tithe
Well Zakah does mean purification, but purification of MONEY!
the verses us that ask us to do Zakaa say "itaa" which means pay zakaa ..
