I have been thinking lately about this question .why god created us ..the answer is that he created us to worship him and adore him but..since god in first place is not in need for it .i know that god created us for something and he is wise enough to not create people for the sake of praying and fasting for him..but of coures for much vlaue things.

the only answer i got is that created us for a reason and that we humen are incapable of knowing it since our brains and minds cant think of it..so just belive in that allah created us for somthing of value..

but i want to know what u think guys

You are correct when you say that Allah SWT is not in need of us:

O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich [Free of all wants and needs], Worthy of all praise. (Fatir 35:15)

On the contrary, WE are the ones who need Allah, and not the other way around.

Perhaps the fact that Allah does not need us is the reason why we cannot comprehend WHY he created us.

---

Keep in mind, that we are not God's greatest creation:

Indeed, the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of mankind do not realize it. (Ghaafir, 57).

------

I personally hold the belief that God created us to build this world and make something of it.

-------

One more thing...

"Aboo Hurayrah related that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “Satan will come to everyone of you and ask: Who created this and that? - until he questions: Who created your Lord? When he comes to that, one should seek refuge in Allah [say: I affirm my faith in Allah and His prophets] and avoid [such thoughts].”" (Bukhari)

Thats not to say you don't have the right to question it, we all have wondering minds and need answers. But don't let the questions steer you away from your faith.

Much more interesting though is some answer as to why your god created mosquitoes, tapeworms, fish with lungs, and penguins ?

Or those urine drinking "Vampire" fish ?

I disagree, I don't think God is that vain. I think he created man to appreciate what He has created, and to take care of his creations when they can't take care of themselves. He created us to be care takers.

Boy are we failing as a species.
