I use the nokia 6600 now, its fun especially during lecture times.
You can play fancy games with others using the bluetooth and at the same time you can add as many themes oyu like which is kinda awesome!

most ppl have the 6600, i wanted to get that one but changed my mind...
CrazyReD 14-08-04, 04:03 PM What made you change ur mind?
Nabhan, check under the battery and you'll find the code of your phone!
The 6600 Nokia has a lot of problems. I have one and it "died" 1 week ago.
It just went off suddenly and didn't want to open since.
Now i need to ask my family to look for the receipt back home and send it to me since i was lazy and didn't bring it with me.
Otherwise, i'll need to pay something close to a brand new mobile for it to be fixed.
What made you change ur mind?
well cuz everyone is getting it :D no just kidding. I changed my mind just like that.. prefered the one i am using now.. its amaller and not complicated like the 6600 in my opinion..
Milliardo Peacecraft 16-08-04, 12:35 PM Bought the Nokia 6600 just a few days ago. I love it! Upgraded my memory card to 128mb. Now all I have to do is find the right apps to make full use of it...

Having just bought it, I am curious as to why this happened. I have read a couple of posts in another board about this happening. I suspect it was attacked by the virus that's spreading around. If you have your Bluetooth always opened, I would think this sort of thing would happen.
nops milliardo. I don't keepmy bluetooth always open.
Actually i hardly use it in public.
am Using 6600 ... I want new themes i only have those boring ones which came along with the phone and nobody sends me any :sorry: ... where can i get new ones!! ?
Can I know what is so good and special about 6600 for everyone having it?
Milliardo Peacecraft 19-08-04, 01:11 PM Can I know what is so good and special about 6600 for everyone having it?
As someone on the MyGlobe (Globe Telecoms is a Philippine cell service provider) forum explained:
6600 versus 7610?
Application-wise 2 significant differences --
- 7610 has built-in 10 minute video recording as opposed to 10 seconds of 6600
- 7610 has 1 megpixel camera
All others are minor --- 7610 is sleek, thinner, louder speaker, etc.
Cost today of 7610 is P29,500 versus P23,000 of N6600.
I have both, and having used them at the same time, I would say that I would still pick N6600 for the following reasons;
- N6600 can be loaded with Philips Camcorder Video software for
UNLIMITED video (with sound!)
- N6600 can be loaded with PHOTOAcute that converts your regular
Camera picture to a 1 megpixel picture
- Most of all, N6600 uses the standard sized MMC as opposed to
7610's RS-MMC which is smaller in size. Meaning, the MMC in
your N6600 is not compatible with 7610's. Worst, if you got used
to using big capacity MMC in 6600 like 512MB, you will have to
be contented with 7610's 128MB or 256Mb (still coming). N6600
MMC is already coming out with a 1GB capacity.
All told, if you know where to get the right software/apps and you don't get easily fascinated with "new" features, I would say that the N6600 is still a better choice --- if it's value for money that you want.
Hope this helps.
That's his explanation, and I agree.

This mobile is good, I like it, it just contains everything you need in a mobile phone, plus its really cool! But its big in size more like Noka Communicator.
I've got a Nokia 6600. I'm hoping that as soon as I can save some money, hopefully by next month, that I'll be able to buy the bluetooth device and start downloading stuff of the net.
Muscati 19-08-04, 11:25 PM A USB blue tooth adapter for your computer shouldn't cost you more than 20 rials at the very most.
They sell it for 14 R.O in aloraimi complex ground floor.
Should be cheaper in other places like ruwi.
Really!!!!
I thought they cost about 30, lol, and I usually spend all my money before the end of the month, but I think I'm gonna go and check it out tomorrow.
Pineapple Thief 22-08-04, 02:25 AM 8210 (kitkat). Nice small phone, and it rings! :o And I can dial with it! :o OMG!
Does the job for me.
Milliardo Peacecraft 22-08-04, 03:44 AM And while you're buying a USB adapter, you might want to consider upgrading that 32mb MMC to 128 or even 1gb MMC. 32mb is just quite small once you start getting those apps for the 6600.
