There are many ordinary people might find difficulty to understand the political events especially what is happing in the Gulf. Saudi or Al-Saud is the current imperial power in the area. They should be stopped; otherwise, they will expand their influence and power to swallow all Gufl countries.
Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC)was found in 1981, to defend Gulf's sovereignty aginstIran and Iraq. Saudi was behind the idea of GCC to exploit small states in the Gulf region in order to protect their interest from Iranian and Iraqi influence. After the war broke out between Iran and Iraq. Iranian power especially in economic term begins to decline and suffers political unstability. On the other hand, Iraqi political and economic situations are worse than Iran. So, Saudi appears as a new imperial power in the region to replace these countries. After, Saudi took advantage the small states in the area to defend its interest; it begins to impose its will on these countries in order to dominate the region. For instance, Bahrain becomes 99.99% a Saudi territory. The Bahraini government does not have ability to oppose Saudi Policy or has its own policy. Kuwait, which was, has a distinct policy in the region before: now it becomes a new province of Saudi. Saudi crown prince visits to Kuwait indicates that Al-Saud's policy is annexing more territories of its neighbors. The dispute of small islands in Kuwaiti waters is a good example.
Saudi domination in the Gulf reflects that Saudi political interest has no limits. This reveals that Saudi has a hidden political agenda. This raises a question, how Oman, UAE and Qatar would resist Saudi imperialism in the region. Losing Bahrain and Kuwiat of their independent policy would make Saudi to move towards Qatar, UAE and Oman. Obviously, none of these states could confront Saudi power individuality. There must be cooperation among these states (Qatar, UAE and Oman)to circumscribe Saudi domination. Therefore, these three states must establish The Southern Gulf Alliance in order to survive and maintain their independent policy and sovereignty from Al-Saud. If these states fail to form Alliance, in the near future, we might view Qatar, UAE, or Oman as a new puppet Government for Riyadh.
