This post is a reply to a question in the general sebla, I here by seek help and forgiveness from HE whose blessing are more than infinity (I wanted it to rhyme some how)

Most of what it mentioned is derived from Quaran and Sunnah. Those who want further information can simply ask and I can simply ignore (naa I am just kidding... I will try my best)

How to focus in prayer?

Many people admit and are not satisfied with the way they pray. It feels empty and without soul... it became to many people mere acts that are done five times a day and that is it!

The evaluation policy:

Sorry to bring the bad news... The process of praying is evaluated the minute you announce your first "Allah Akbar" you start off with 100%, and you are deducted percentage based on what you do and how often you do it while praying, some of us end their prayer with only 10% taken off and others with only 5% left!

* As such you are marked on your submission during these movements.

So, by now you should be thinking "what the hell is he talking about" I mean how to focus? Well... the following should help increase the level of your submission:

1- Have you any clue of who you are praying to?

It is easy to us to go: {"Allah", you fool}. But no, what I am trying to say is: did you comprehend his greatness?

Check out this Link for instance: wow (http://wires.news.com.au/special/mm/030811-hubble.htm)

A side info: one light year = 9.4605284 × 1012 kilometers (pretty far, aih?)

We can only see out to a distance of about 14 billion light years from Earth. This means that the size of the universe that we can see is about 28 billion light years in diameter (across). In addition, the universe is expanding!

Imagine, when you are standing you are calling him... You want his attention, and in the hadeith it is said that he would pay attention once, then when a person is distracted the lord stops paying attention and that happens thrice. Then the lord stops paying attention.

This expanding universe is filled with angels and some of them are so huge like Gabriel who has 600 wings with all sorts of jewels dropping of these wings. And some as little as flies... Some of those were created bowing down, and some just raising him and on the day of judgment as he orders them to lift their faces up the first thing they say is:" Oh praise to you, for we have not worshiped you like we should!" and all that we are asked for is 5 minutes tops per prayer..

You time yourself as you call on to him "Lord of Harun and Moses" he who wiped out those who were mightier, stronger, and richer. it won't take you long ..

I will end this point with Ali bn Abi Talib shivering as he poured water over his hands to make wadou while people were asking him:" why is he shacking?" and he said :" Do u not know of who I stand in front in a few ? I shall stand before thee, creator of earth and heaven. I am to carry that which earth, mountains and heavens rejected"

Amo ..... Oh thy of little faith ... :)

This bonnie lad does not use links. Cause I believe they are very boring especially when it comes to religion. I am coming up with this stuff from what I have heard, what I have read and what I've been taught.
