If you are a believer, you should know that human beings were created in such a way that their eyes can not see everything which is in fact around them. In short, the outside world is not limited to what we see only.
Knowing that, if you were given the option to see one of the following things, which one would you pick and tell us why:
1) More new colors
2) The angels
3) The jinns
4) The torment in the graves
5) Shaitan
6) The souls
The angels.
Some people will probably say satan because he will scare them from sinning, but for me I don't scare .. I get motivated to do good deeds when I think of holy things and feel love for Allah SWT and my religion; the angels would be something that would stimulate me.

Torment in the graves to be more motivated to do good and prepare for the Akirah.
If I had a very dear person who was dead i would have said the souls.. but since alhamdullilah that didnt happen yet.. i would go for the angels. I want to see something pleasant and not scare the sh*t out of me.

The visible light is only a small portion of the electromagnetic wave. It would be cool to be able to see infrared or ultraviolet with naked eye.

I wish I had sharp vision like eagles, night vision like cats, ultraviolet vision like bees(http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/technology/features/uv_bees.html) and compound eyes like dragonflies. ;)
I don’t care about angles, jinns, afterlife torment, Shaitan or souls, nor do I care about tooth fairies or Santa Clause.

More new colours. That would be cool.
The rest would be too traumatising and frightening :os !

I dont think I wanna see something extra .. I am pretty content with what I can see ;)
I don't think human beings can stand to see the original shape of jinns and angels. Even prophet Mohammed PBUH saw angel "jibreal" in the way Allah created him only one time according to the Hadith.

Not one time Icy, two times in his original form, but he saw him many times in human form or others (this is another topic) ;)
Cetacea, do you think that me talking here about the existance of jinns, angels or even souls is similar to talking about fairies and Santa Clause? If you don't believe in the first two, are you going to tell me that you don't even believe that we, or you, have a soul??

I would personally choose new colors. Cause the whole thing is designed to suit us best. But , I do not see how is that gonna work any better than what we already have.
it also, reminded me of a Hadeeth mentioned in "Saheeh Muslim"
Hanzala reported: We were in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and he delivered to us a sermon and made a mention of Hell-Fire. Then I came to my house and began to laugh with my children and sport with my wife. (Hanzala) further reported: I went out and met Abu Bakr and made a mention of that to him. Thereupon he said: I have done the same as you have mentioned. So we went to see Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) and said to him: Allah's Messenger, Hanzala has turned to he a hypocrite. And he (the Holy Prophet) said Show respite. And then I narrated to him the story, and Abu Bakr said: I have done the same as he has done. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Hanzala, there is a time for worldly affairs and a time for (worship and devotion), and if your state of mind is always the same as it is at the time of remembrance of Allah, the Angels would shake hands with you and would greet you on the path by saying: As-Salamu-Alaikum.
"took me real effort , to find the English Translation.. so glad I've found it though"
so Allah has chosen for us this "lay out" out of mercy .. Cause I doubt that our minds could comprehend or bare anymore...
