I have US Robotic Modem 5630B serial winXP

The Problem is
After connection is establised with ISP (omantel) and
verifying username password, it shows me error message as "Error 737
Loopback detected." The cause of this error is said tobe 'modem is sending
loopback characters to the dialing modem. try resetting the modem.' Even
after restarting , reinstalling the modem and changing modem for couple of
time the error message is the same. Does any one having idea about this.
please help me..

solution..well am still looking... but did you try to remove the modem I mean hardware wise? and put it back in? Mayb that would work.

there is another idea...it might work. Try to remove TCP/IP protocol and install again. That might work.

hmm... are you sure you have the correct driver for your modem? Maybe its for a different version.
