We can only hope that the scientists didn't use Energizer batteries - they keep going and going and going.

And how does this different from the turn of the century? Please post your information sources.
But, if there is anything concerning aliens, Area 51, the Illumanati, etc. All bets are off.
I enjoy reading Apocalypse predictions. Ronald Reagan was supposed to be the anti-Christ. Ended up being a befuddled Alzheimers patient.

Yet another arguement in favor of our "cashing in" our retirement accounts and keeping the boat.
:hbd:
However, it appears they made typical errors -
"The Maya believed the Earth was flat with four corners ...
At each corner, there was a jaguar of a different color that supported the sky. The jaguars were called bacabs.
Mayans believed the universe was divided into thirteen layers, each with its own god. "

We can look back upon them now and smile. People back then (300 - 1000 AD) made up all sorts of stories to explain the unknown, but think how silly it sounds now - the Earth spread out like a picnic blanket, things having to hold up the sky, and the universe divided into a religiously important number of layers or spheres.

Welcome to this forum Black-Cobra and you seem to come in full force here. Now, it is true that the number 7 is important in islam and repeated many times in the quranic teachings, however I am afraid you made a mistake in your date. For what I heard, the earth is suppose to live another 5 thousand years and should end somewhere in year 7000....so the end of time is not yet there!

Probably 0:07 am, July 7th, 7000.
Why is the end predicted to be 7000 years after Jesus's birth and not Mohammed or the next Prophet ?

Maybe because Jesus is going to be brought back to earth then?
