sanwin: you can always raise a complain about anything you notice, but altering the idea of the topic for some other issue thats not how it should be.

nVidia (GeForce) and ATI (RADEON) are simply the best video cards in the gaming market. If money is not an issue for you, then "GeForce FX 5950 256MB" is the leading in nVidia series, while "RADEON 9800 XT 256MB" in ATI series. Now, should you go for ATI or nVidia? That would be more a personal thing, because both companies are excellent, and both had their ups and downs. If you want to look for a solid excellent video card, then I would recommend GeForce, but if you want your video card to be 1 generation ahead with DirectX, then ATI should your choice.

I personally have a GeForce Ti500, bought it when it was the top in the market, and it kicked *** BIG TIME in gaming, and it still KICKS *** in gaming. Thanks to my AthlonXP processor, 768 DDR RAM, and 8MB cache hard drive. Each component of my computer plays an important rule in the performance.

So don't buy the best video card in the market, when you computer specs suck, because the video card might do you no good.

If you are a bit tight on money, then I would recommend you to go for either GeForce4 TI 4800 or GeForce FX 5800 256MB.

Tom's Hardware has an excellent benchmarks for the latest video cards @ http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031229/index.html

ATI RADEON 128mb all-in-wonder is the one I currently use. It's such a wonderful card for gaming and many other things.

It'll be almost impossible though to buy in a retail store here for the next 6 months ... still if I had the dough I'd buy it!!!

Agreed.

These are comments from some of yesterdays reviews :

This is FarCry with the highest settings possible. This is 1600x1200 resolution with 4x full-scene antialiasing and 16x anisotropic filtering activated. This is the RADEON X800. And this is absolutely playable. No comments are required for 85% performance improvement over the competing GeForce 6800 Ultra." - XbitLabs.com

"The Radeon X800XT Platinum Edition goes even further and burns through these games like a hot knife through butter, besting NVIDIA's 6800Ultra by an easily noticeable real-world margin. If the flagship is what you want, be assured the ATI Radeon X800XT Platinum Edition was the top performer allowing us to play today's demanding games at higher resolution and quality settings than any 3D graphics accelerator we have ever experienced. " - Hardocp.com

"Just when we thought NVIDIA's GeForce 6800 Ultra was the new king of the hill, ATI comes back and reclaims the performance crown in many popular benchmarks, including next generation titles such as Far Cry. This news must have come as a stunning surprise to NVIDIA, who have quickly whipped up an overclocked GeForce 6800 Ultra part to try and keep up, but even NVIDIA's overclocked 6800 Ultra Extreme part falls short of ATI's impressive clock frequencies." - FiringSquad.com

-----------

I could always buy one and ship it to you if you really wanted one.

Thanks for the information Don Khaled but don’t you think that your comments are harsh !! Before you point your fingers at us as racist USA and the West are the worst racists if you compare racisim to the Arab world .

Are realistic comments always harsh? Why are you changing the subject by saying "USA and the west are racists"? I am talking about the Arabs, and see no reason why you should jump to another. I don't care about the americans, I care about the Arabs, that's why I threw in my comment about them. Simple as that.
