This might sound really retarded but still, i need an answer...

What is the Islamic opinion about male body hair trimming? notice that I said trimming, not completely removing.

I have asked few people before and all of them had the same answer: "*scratching head* God, I have NO idea."

I'm just interested to know what the answer is because somehow it seems no one thought of this...

Yeah. I know that you can even shave your armpit hair as well as your hair in the pubic region, but what about the rest?

well am no scholar in islam.. but i would assume there is no harm in ONLY TRIMMING it if it was lets say too thick and started annoying the guy , but completely removing it might be haram , cause its a form of imitating girls ( tashabuh bil nisa2).

but, I would agree with Nabhan ... taking all the hair is imitating women, if triming was done at the same intention ..then its haram too.

The same excuses that Nablah have said. Too much body hair can annoy the person so much and make him look like a little monkey. It really bugs. That is why I am asking :)

If a guy has a jungle on his back :os is it OK to wax it off? It'll take too long to trim the hair..

I don't think it'll be tashabbuh bil nisaa2 because a lot of men have hairless backs already..
