What kind of a person is likely to Enter The Heaven according to religion ?

People who believe in religion for the pure love of God and have unwavering belief in His existance. When u believe in Him, u tell him everything, your worries, what u are ashamed of, your happiness, etc when he becomes you dearest friend, he becomes a more loving and a closer friend to you and thus he protects and directs you to the righteous path.

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (Radhi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu), who said that the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa Sallam) said:

Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

In my personal belief I believe that people (no matter what faith) who have passion for God and all his messages. Respecting and tolarating other faiths. Being close to God, being a righteous person, being the one who always seeks guidance and truth... That's the person who's going to Heaven.

I'm a Muslim and I totally refuse to believe that only Muslims go to Heaven. For one good reason. Mother Teresa.... She was VERY religious and she loved everybody equally. She believed in everybody. She helped whoever needed her no matter what faith they were. Now, how on earth can somebody like that not enter Heaven. She loved God with all her heart and she followed what she believed is true. She served God by being a good person and spreading love to every faith.

Who are we to judge what faith wins God's heart but to be more logical about it, I believe that respecting and loving everybody just the same and being righteous, is the key to Heaven.

That's just my opinion.

Many hearty thanks to Stellar for the honest response. Perhaps I should take your first paragraph as an indication of relativity to my question.

No specific religion is what I intended to say. But those religions that believe; there is an 'hereafter' and members of those very beliefs taking credit on the basis of their beliefs.


It could be a pagan who fears an unseen unknown power that made all things we see, hear, and feel existable.

The answer is in the holy Quran:

"It will not be in accordance with your desires, nor the desires of the People of the Scripture. He who doeth wrong will have the recompense thereof, and will not find against Allah any protecting friend or helper."[4:123]

"And whoso doeth good works, whether of male or female, and he (or she) is a believer, such will enter paradise and they will not be wronged the dint in a date-stone."[4:124]

And in the 125 verse Allah said:

"Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend".
