MGS3: Snake eater is coming out soon.
The difference this time is that it's gonna take place in the 60's. So you would expect different type of weapons, maps... etc

Also, it seems this will be the last part of the series!

evilio my friend i was typing in many places and got stuck and every one knows metal gear solid and for ill kila i played the first and secound metal gear solid though it aint actually the first or secound;)

Well just saw yesterday MGS 2 - PC version, and am very tempted to get a hold of it. Though its in DVD-Rom format.

Is it very different then MGS 1?? I havent played either. So do you guys recommend that playing part 1 before part 2 is essential or it doesnt make a difference?

u gotta play the 1st mgs or u will not understand anythin about part 2

I finished part 1, 2 and the skateboard game in substance :D

MGS3: Snake Eater is not the last Metal Gear Solid, there is already a GameCube MGS game titled "Double Snake" which is a remake/remix of the First to Metal Gear Solid games, there is also a rumoured new online Metal Gear Solid, and if the GameCube gets an MGS game, the GBA will most probably get some sort of port of it is as well, cause there was a MGS game on the GameBoy Color.

Blue... The MGS on GameCube is called Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.. And as you said it is a remake of the one on PSone.. And it was released in March.. And now you can find it in game shops if you look in the right place.. I've seen it..

So then EviliO's words could be right, unless a Gameboy Version came out..

That what i read in another game forum. This will be their last version.

Now in another news site, i can see that it's the final version of MGS directed by kojima. The director of the famous MGS game.

This seems to be more realistic i guess.

I dont really think it'll do well without Hideo Kojima, the guy is really brillient, the way he develops his games to be so realistic with an excellent story line and all..

Anyone interested in his work should also check Z.O.E (zone of the enders), a MUST for Hideo fans!
