I am thinking of changing my nokia phone..and i was looking at the Sony Ericsson phones and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on these phones or any sony ericsson phone models for that matter.
Who is the dealer of Sony Ericsson in Oman?

SonyEricsson no longer has a dealer in Oman. Zubair Telecoms is officially the agent for them, but they have stopped actively promoting the handsets and they focus mostly on GSM transmission systems and networks. They don't even have a showroom for the phones anymore and don't stock parts for most of the newer phones. I wouldn't advise you to buy a SonyEricsson in Oman at the moment because you'll have to buy it from one of the stores that don't provide dealer warranty. If anything goes wrong the store will have to figure out a way to fix it for you. And having owned a couple of their phones in the past I know that things always go wrong with their phones.

Thansk Muscati for that info..it totally puts me off now..its a shame really as thier phones seem to be very nice and excellent features..i simply wanted a change from the Nokia models..ohh well :(
t have aony erricson and it is great. it was hard working with the features at first cause i was use to nokia...but like muscati said in terms of repair you have to take it back to the store...you get store warranty not wikala.... but the stores tend to fix the problem......

I love sony Erricssion features .. they have some better than Nokia .. my husband has it.
But, he used for 2 months and something started getting wrong with it actually he noticed its when he puts it into slient state.

its a shame...so far 2 of you complained of it having problems..plus no dealer in oman a big hassle really!

sony ericsson phones are good... nice designs great features and not as expenisive as nokia....
if you want to buy a SE wait till the summer bcoz they will release couple of new phone with a 1.3 MP camera..
