View Full Version : Why white christians exterminated 100 million native indians and used the A bomb?
Bucks Fizz 19-03-04, 05:21 PM Why is it christians since hte crusades have gone round the world trying to either convert third world civilians or exterminate them if they refuse? Is that what the holy dioceses has prescribed in the name of god? Or is it hte christian right wing who are trying to bring about WW3 and the anti christ (cuz thats what they believe). As opposed to muslim terrorists who are not following Islam as a guidebook, these christians are literally following what is written in their books, word for word. These are the real terrorists, who operate from behind the scenes. Noone seems to be interested in studying them, even though they are cause of most world conflicts and acts of terror since hte beginning of time.

Nah, there is nothing in the Bible about that - Jesus was the ultimate pacifist.
You're confusing several issues.
Explorers and colonists have gone around conquering for the usual reasons - greed (both personal and national). The missionaries are a separate bunch, and I've never been able to figure them out. :yuck:
Most of the Native American populations were initially decimated by diseases brought by the Europeans, to which they had no natural defenses. That made them easy to sweep aside in the greedy push of the arrogant colonists. Again, religion was secondary, the "savages" were just in their way! The actual wars the Indians were involved in were largely wars between Britain, France, and Spain, that the tribes took sides in. Once that was settled, there was a general view of "Indians as the enemy" amongst the new Americans - which made it easy (mentally) to shove them aside - but this is politics, the religious involvement is a very minor consideration.
The Christian right wing used to a be a laughable flock of whackos. Now some of them are in power and I'm not laughing anymore. But there's not 300 year conspiracy, this is a new group of fundamentalists who sought political power - very different dynamics from the simple greed for land that USA is built on.
MoonChild 19-03-04, 06:16 PM Oh yeah, there's no religious involvement in the use of the atomic bomb. It was a strategic decision, nothing more.
amo_l_oman 19-03-04, 07:12 PM Fizz you forgot the third secret of Fatima, maybe some hint there, ah and Nostradamus too.

a) then why do you call them Muslim terrorists ?
b) show us what the darned Christians are following in their Bible "word for word" that is bringing about a world war, death and destruction, etc.
Bucks Fizz 20-03-04, 01:11 AM You think christian right wing was only came to power in the last 300 years. That is where you are mistaken. If only you see beyond your arrogance, i know it hurts for all you pseudo intellectuals to actually admit that hte christian right does exist today as a force to be reckoned with but the fact is they have been a force for thousand years +
The A-bomb only strategic eh? Strategy implies that there are goals and objectives. What would they be? I see the native indians were exterminated by disease. Well the christians killed pregnant women, children, and burnt them alive in 1542 and commited crimes of the "Strangest cruelty" as Father Bartolome wrote. Disease may have taken 60 percent of the native indian population but what about the onther 40 percent? DISGUSTING.

Not sure about the specific event you are referencing but I agree that this occurred and was disgusting.

Wow, you're a regular genius. This display of intellect is so awesome that you should reward yourself with some quality masturbation time. Then make yourself a sandwich. Go ahead, you deserve it.
Now, you have yet to answer the challenge to your spew

Bucks Fizz 20-03-04, 01:43 AM 1) That is what you use, i have to use the same terminologies you use because your low mental capabilities only understand these terms.
2) Hey your the atheist who spends times disproving religions, why don't you tell us "Im so cool im an atheist know it all". But ofcouse i forgot, you can only spend time trying to disprove islam.
3) I'm bored now because you really really don't know anything about christianity or any of its subgroups. All you want to talk about is Islam *YAWN* I could say anything and you wouldnt be able to prove or disprove it because clearly you know ZERO. Were you born an atheist is that why you know nothing about other religions? Ignorance does absolve your responsibilty i spose.
Wanderer 20-03-04, 02:13 AM You would appear to be more than just a sexually frustrated teenager if you could answer:

I couldnīt agree more. Bucks Fizz is a wannabe agitator and his postings are, as you delicately put it, indeed shameful (not to mention sleep inducing).
amo_l_oman 21-03-04, 06:25 PM No the shame was for you, sleeping in forum :eyes:
I find him funny, at least a way to cheer up my lonley weekends
Shakoosh Kabir 21-03-04, 06:33 PM "Lonely", Amo? Surely you spend your weekends preparing ingenious chemical potions for your little uomo?:D

This thread did bring up a question that either Bucky or Amo might be able to answer:
what IS the pharmacological treatment for Tourette's syndrome ?
Wanderer 12-04-04, 08:33 PM Oh, and on the subject of the thread, a question - did "early" Christians even have the A bomb ?
Agree or disagree, in fewer than 3 pages (double spaced)

The Christian right wing used to a be a pathetic gather to hit. Now some of them are in power known as neo-cons. Ultra Right wings Fundamentalist and extra sympathetic to Zionism.
America of Abraham Lincoln is hiding in shame.

The America of Abraham Lincoln wasn't all that it's cracked up to be.
The was that whole Slavery and Civil War thing going on. Few, if any Muslims. All sorts of crackpot Christian sects were springing up. Women couldn't vote.
Worse still, Hawaii was not yet a state.
Howdy,
My first ever reply to Sabla! Everyone give me a slap on the back... not so hard. I've been reading the threads for some time and just now bothered to sign up...yeah I'm a tad lazy. Too bad I chose such a overly typical thread. I just wanted to say a few things:
1. Wanderer; though I don't understand aethiesm, as I gather you are an aethiest... You got a head on your shoulders. I like reading your replies.
2. Buck Fizz.... seek truer religion!
3. I think if we were to be honest we would find that all peoples have left behind records and histories that are atrocious. Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Anamistic, Traditional, Idol worship... whatever the culture has been defined by. Conscious Americans are ashamed of the treatment of the Native Americans, (the title indian should be given up..) Europeans with hearts are sadened by their history (slave trade, colonialism, and lets face it alot of the killing of the native americans was done before any concept of America as we know it now.) Muslims should be ashamed of the terrible things that are done in there past and what is being done in their name now. "Muslim" warriors invaded country after country in the initial expansion of the classic Islamic empire and we find stories of shocking situations in that history; men of villages being systimaticly beheaded after surrendering, women and children enslaved, etc. The tribal warfare of all early people,.... come on, can't you see that saying "your history is worse than my history" is kind of childish...
A man once said, Peace can never come about through violence but only through understanding. Include in this volent language, which only causes more division than anything because of the failure to understand. We all do it from time to time, overlook our own faults and rely on our racial prejudices of other people. But I'm sure we can work on it and improve.
I hope to reply often and as forgiveness if I ever offend anyone.

Welcome, Wolf (love your nick :) ) ... I hope you post often, I like your style! :)
What is the point in banging on about the historical crimes of one society or another? Like Wolfie said, all our forefathers did some pretty unspeakable things.
The point is what are we doing now?! In the case of the EZW (Evil Zionist West), we are the only countries which allow freedom of religion, don't persecute our ethnic or religious minorities, and even go round apologising and paying reparations for the sins of our great grandfathers.
By the way, I know Bucky. He's much more amusing than he seems (you're right about the masturbation though I fear, but then glass houses eh?)

Ewwwwwwww. Buy him some Windex.
Scottish 21-05-04, 03:54 AM LOL. Frankly, I'm not sure what to say.
That's what it turns into. Somebody American talks about ME present, they bring up the treatment of Native Americans and ultimately the old "you actually used the bomb (gasp)" ploy.
Meanwhile, every culture has done that. And I do mean every culture.
Then I turn around and say that every leader looks out for the best interests of his own people, irregardless of anybody elses little feelings on the subject.
And I have to say. Political correctness sucks. I have a good Maori friend, and we have quite the discussion on political correctness, being his own people got a shaft at one point.
He believes people whine too much. And he's not the bloke to argue with.
