So now you are without a phone....
I want to smash the phone I'm using at the moment.. I just hate it.. but can't do that till I buy a new one... The 6600 is for 191 now... don't know if I should wait till the price go lower or should I wait for the 6320.... :lost:
haso0on 24-12-03, 06:22 PM no now am using the I-Mate Smartphone
anyhow didnt the price of the 6600 go down to 170 rials??
Blue_Chi 24-12-03, 07:32 PM Guys, please feel free to start new threads rather that going out of topic in other threads, I will be getting the 6600 very soon.

I know, I couldn't wait for that phone to possibly discover that it was not good enough, I want to try something different, I currently have the 6610 which is very similar to the 6230 in size, design and everything, the only difference is an MP3, Camera, and the ANIMATED SCREENSAVER. Which I still want so badly, but I couldn't resist all the features a Symbian OS can provide. I fully understand the power of these phones, and I think the screensaver is worth sacraficing, plus I do not really know when the 6230 will be exactly released anyway.
my sister bought the 6600 recently and she's very happy with it.
she asked me to make her a few wallpapers.. i checked the website and it said that the resolution is "176 x 208 pixels " , so should i use that setting to create them?
Blue_Chi 25-12-03, 04:35 AM No Nabhan, the Symbian OS Nokia phones do not have a "Full Screen" wallpaper, I am not sure of the EXACT dimentions, but I know the ratio, check the image I attached in here, it has the exact ratio that will fill up the whole of the wallpaper field. Knowing that Ratio and not the exact number of pixels makes it very difficult to use Pixel Fonts as they will not work perfectly because the image will be reduced in size because it is a little bit larger.
so are u telling me i should use the exact dimentions of that image u attached?
Blue_Chi 25-12-03, 05:02 AM You can use the size of the image that I attached and it would look perfect except for pixel fonts. You can actually use any image of the size ratio of 3:2 (width:hight) with the minimum size for width as 176.
I'm also going to buy this phone. The one I'm using now is old, lol, and my sister thinks I need a change, and I just fell in love with the 6600. Soon, hopefully sooooooooon.
Well I think I'm gana get the 6600 now and when 6320 is released in the mrkets I'll get it too ....... It is not abig deal, is it ?
I have been witing for the 6600 for long.
haso0on 25-12-03, 02:43 PM i didnt really like the 6600...the best thin abt it is its camera...other thn tht nothing
Blue_Chi 30-12-03, 12:14 AM I got the 6600. Unlike Hasooon, the only thing that I cannot seem to ever wish to use is the Camera!
Being the first Symbian OS phone I use, I am already hooked! I can customize this phone like crazy, the only thing that I cannot seem to manage to edit is the cover of the phone as I do not want to spoil it by painting on it.
I already got a PC theme edittor that allow me to create my own themes for the phone. I got a profile edittor, I downloaded an MP3 player, a NES emulator (can play all the Nintendo NES games), and several nGage games as well!! :D I love the big screen, the blue glow of the buttons, the smooth shape, and everything about this, it is for sure the phone I needed!
Yeah for sure the 6600 is the phone to own!
Seems like am getting this too :D
It has great features and many softwares can be added to it!
lol... you can even get an anti-mosquito software on it! LoOL!
The camera is great and clear.... but probably downloading another software for the camera would be the best thing to do to upgrade your phone.
Other than that, this phone has everything you need.
