I don't think you'll find any here in Oman but there are some books that, doesn't teach how to apply, but you can see how the makeup looks and you can copy it... I don't remember the name of the magazine now.... once you start you'll get used to it and be good.... its all about practice...

I must disagree with you as you can learn from books.... you can see how is the makeup applied then practice on yourself and others... that's how me and my sisters learned... I must say my sister is good at it... :)

I think the best place to get the book you're looking for would be online. Amazon.com

IneXorabLe, why dont you try to find some PDF files . . am sure that you can find e-books faster and more easy..i'll try from my side as well.

Make-up is an art..its true that I dont know how to apply it but am very good in recognizing it.

one of our major problems in oman , that girls are good in buying brands but bad in wearing them. not all ofcourse,or i would leave Oman *kidding*

Good Luck

Nadia Al-Offi is a make-up artist in Oman, during Ramadan she gives makeup leassons... But only during that period.. I had a whole session with her and it was smashing..
