I cut my hair a month ago.. and already I got too many split ends, and that would definately not let my hair grow! What can I do to avoid split ends? Don't tell me trim your hair.. I have only cut my hair last month, and if I get to trim my hair every month, nothing will be left!!!

Avoid using of chemicals if any and too much exposure to the sun.

Split ends don't stunt hair growth. They just make hair look a bit messy and frizzy. I wish I had a cure for it cuz then I would use it myself but sadly I don't. The best advice I can give is try not to use heated styling tools like blow-dryers and tongs. If you really need to use them then coat your hair with a protective serum 1st. And invest in a good conditioner.

Because if this is true, then why people say trim your hair every three or six months if you want your hair to grow?

yep, split ends dont affect growth.. your hair grows from the roots not the ends...
buy the Split ender from interwood, i have it and it really works its chops off the split ends. You should u use it with the split ends start to avoid different hair lengths.

Yeah I'm sure Delicate. Like FluidNutria said, hair grows from the roots, not the ends. Ppl are advised to get their hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks to keep it looking healthy and neat. If you don't get it trimmed regularly then more of the hair will get split so rather than having half an inch cut off when you next get a hair-cut, at least 2 inches or whatever will have to be cut off for the hair to look good.

7ammam zeyt doesnt make hair grow. It just keeps it from getting dry.

Some herbs such as Rosemary help stimulate hair growth.

Yes wha diva said is right u should trim ur hair after 4-6 weeks to get a healthy hair and to get rid of the split ends.

Split ends makes the hair look so unhealthy n so dead+ makes its looks manfoosh!!!

Try stop using blow dryers coz the hot air is bad for the hair. use 7ama zait as Phoenix and Delicate said its good.

Here r some other stuff that i use... and effects ma hair:

~ coconut oil its good but kinda stinks keep it on ur hair over night.

~Hena is so good too ( the hena fil hair dressers have chmicals so i do ma on recipe at home i will post it later)

~ after washing ur hair add 1/4 cup of vinger and 1/4 cup of water mix them and put da mixture in ur hair, but wash it off immediatly.

~ Yoghurt is also good for hair keep it for half n house thats good (it works as a conditionar too)
