hmmm maybe you could try the shopping malls. Or perhaps you could go over to dubai for a day and do as much shopping as much as you want.
By the way....why "there is no cloths to buy for Eid from anywhere??"
I tried going to the shopping malls but their isn’t anything nice to 2 buy this eid all the shops are empty .

hello Gomar,
well if u can not find any thing from the malls and the shops, why dont u try to buy some materials and send them to the tailors and ask them to make u what ever suits ur requirments in how the cloth should look in ur own test ?!!:)

You can make your own cloths, buy the material from mazoon for example and start working :)

Stitching is not as good as getting it readymade, or that's what I think. You just can't get the cut right and it doesn't sit on you as well as ready-made stuff..
just my opinion.

U r absolutely right, this is Y I changed my mind this Eid & decided to wear some thing un usual better than the usual skirts & shirts we buy from typical shops like mango or next... I bought traditional clothes with their jewelry & I don't mean Omani here.... My friend told me there r many great shops in Seeb & told me the place, so I ask My dad to take me there cauz I'ven't been there before.
You would better go & see by your self & I'm sure u gonna love them:wink:

I checked in City Centre last week.
Mango's things are just crap this time., What were they thinking?!
Promod had nice skirts but they were all too "clingy" on me. If you're skinny then it'll sit well on you.. otherwise the skirts will make your hips and butt look huge.
Mexx. The colours are too dull this time.

I hate this hassle .. this is why I would make my eid dress earlier .. in a tailor coz there I can make sure the fitting is alright and the style is something that suits me.
Any way, in Eid I usually wear Omani ... which I get it made by some women in the intiror ..
I went to moonsoon yesterday .. found some nice dresses but a bit expensive.
why do you guys like to keep your eid clothes till last min?!
4-ever-young
22-11-03, 01:40 PM
i didnt leave it to the last min but what happened is that i took my dress to the tailor beginning of ramamdhan but got it just 2 days ago..and i didnt like it..so i was looking for something else..but i guess i will end up wearing it

Seems like everyone did something to their hair. I cut mine yesterday :d
I always prefer to buy ready made clothes, faster, easier, and looks better, but that's just my opinion.
I got everything ready, a nice top with a nice skirt. It is difficult to find something here, thank god I got my top from when I was away on holiday, just had to find a suitable skirt for it.
