i was driving down the highway today at 11am alone in the car , another car passes me by , in it two men , the driver a mutawaa with a full beard and the praying sign on his head , he looked at me so long and deep ,that i thought he will break his neck- i wish.
how can they be like that , is religion and praying a duty only or a way of life?

maybe he wanted to c u in the mosque before the adhan, so u can read quran then pray some extra praiers and good stuff like that.

whenever i see a mutawa3 i feel that they have powers. http://www.omania.net/evip/ubb/smile.gif powers like he would know if u r a good person, who prays and read quran, or u don't. anyway, maybe that guy saw something in u that made him inrtested with u!!! who knows?

maybe he had problems with his eyes and was not able to c very well, maybe he thought that u were someone he knew...

Talking about "mutawaa" as a religious person. Do you really think that those ppl are good as they seem to look like ???. I don't think so ... they say that those ppl are straight forward and they don't look at girls and all those craps ... but its actually the other way round .

As an example, I am a female ... as one day i was with my mother walking down town. We saw a banch of guys walking towards us... as you know guys .. the same usuale shit it always happens ... but then there was this "mutawaa" guy who was actually coming from the other side ... and you just won't believe this ... him looking stick with his long beard and short dishdasha .. the guy was looking at my mother like anything ... I was going to ask him what is he looking at .. but my mom stoped me .. and honestly thats not the first time that happens .. quite few times .

To me being veryyyyyyyy religious or not at all to be honest it doesn't make a difference to me . It all depends on someone way of thinking and how he deals with things. So don't youever think those religious ppl are always GOOD .. remember everything is possible!!!!

i totally agree with curious7 , these ppl are full of it , the only thing i am gratefull for is that they are not as hard as the ones in suadia, but i have seenthem and the way they stare at women , even once i was in the shariaa court with my friend , and the judge whos dishdasha was up to his knee was staring so much at me , that i thought he is about to jump on me ... its very scarry thing.

There was this jalsa deeneeya somewhere where this muttawa gave a speech to the ppl he said about a lot of religous things, 1 of them was to not look at women and zeena and all that stuff!!

anyway after the jalsa, the man sat down and saw a woman pass by and kept staring at her as if he would stalk her or something!! so the ppl at the jalsa saw the muttawa and asked him why he is watching women when he himself just told them not to!!

The muttawa answered them truthfully he said:
"I am only looking at the goodness and beauty of one of gods creatures!!"
