and yes .. children should be given their own freedom in choosing thier lives .. and we should teach them this freedom from early stages .. for example . give them teh right to choose theier clothes ..they might not match our tasets .. but as long as they are not away from our culture and religion ..we should make them choose what they wear even if they were 2 years old ! ... they will learn to have thier own choice and will gradually take the right choice ( ofcourse we should provide some assistance )

I wanted to add some posts here in order to make this place a bit alive .. people we want to see more contribution in the educational sabla !!!!

we always se people who discovered this and discovered that .. we wounder . what they eat? what they read and how come they are geniuses ..
I beleive that education start from Home .. when we teach our children how to scientifcly reach to conclusioon we give them the base to be a scientist .. when they ask us questions and we say how stupied is it we lead them to be losers !!!
every parent should teach thier children how to read or explore things and how to know what they like and what are thier intrest .. they might change them from time to time .. but that all about exploring agian !
Home education is the most important education that a child can get !

I fully support you arbprnces with this. As a matter of fact, sometimes we were not even given a chance to express our views about things. I think there should always be a constructive dialoge between the parents and the kids, so that a creative environment would be existing :cool:

So it is not a matter of food or anything like that :D
I think we should let our children choose their lives(the way they want to live)provided a close monitoring is necessary. This would make them stay in a straight line ;)

Afterall, if we just apply what the Qura'an and the Sunna is teaching us..I dont think we will lose the track :)

I fully agree with both of you.. & wana add something.. we can also take the opinions of our kids when we take them to the market for our own shopping.. or even when we think of furnishing our homes :)
it builds condidence & creativity .. they learn more than chosing for their cloths.. they can also learn that they belong to the home & their ideas are important to us.. so that will make them share their thoughts with us always.. we should talk to our children like adults..
& I trust that EDUCATION STARTS FORM HOME .. :)
