as many members experience ramdhan for the first time alone away from thier family ..
how is it?
what do you miss home (aside from the well cooked meals :p )?
Do you face any difficulties being more devoted to Allah or you spend more time worshipping Allah?
How does it feel when you are the only one fasting (if you are in a non-islamic country)?
Those who happened to experience this situation can also share with us.
o0oh its very diffecult very diffecult ... i never feel that its the holy month .... never feel that i'm fasting ... u feel home sick most of the time and i keep calling home alot these day ... so7oor time and iftaar time ...:D .... just to know what r they eating ....:weep: ... they annoy me and tell me that they r eating my faviourite deshes... :weep: .... and here me i eat what this old man cooks he doesnt even have clue what he is co0king looking forward to be kicked out .... sorry if u se the food u will say the same thing and i'm not the only one ... all of us .... :bang: no body listen to us .... hmm yah in the class ching chongs know that we r fasting but still they bring thier smelly food and eat with sounds .... like music playing in thier mouth and ask us if we want some ... the best place to sit after the class is ur own room coz even in computer labs they eat ... and smoke in rest room .... ufff and the weather its realy boiling i can hear my blood ... its so0o hummed and no AIR CONS ... :bang: ... im realy looking forward to go home ... glade one month left and i will be at home .... what else ... :weep: ... never mind 3 more years left ...:bang: ...:p

Not so cool....everybody is eating delicous food while iam eating air.....Fo6oor is at 6:52. My obese egyptian friend nearly fainted since he is used to eating 15 meals a day. My saudi female friends have their period for the whole month....dont ask why.
I ate 3 plates of fatah(bread crumbs and curry)....and two cans of pepsi twist...I couldnt move for three hours....but its not as bad as last year.
It's depressing really.
I sat down today to have If6ar and I really missed my family and Ramadhan in oman.
It was kind of a family matter; everyone looked forward to eating and we always had such great food! And now I'm drinking lemonade instead of laban, eating hamburgers instead of shorba.......and all alone without even hearing the call of the athan which is really sad!
:weep:
at least i downloaded athan to my lap top and hera holy quran rom the net ... but i was wallah crying yesterday during the if6aar ... :weep: ... even oman channel tried to watch it and it didnt work ... nobody is here used to sit next to dad and had nice chat after if6aar ... used to ask him many questions about islam and learnt more during this month... pray tarawee7 with mom and then go for a waik after that with all family .... or waik to my oldest uncles house to have a chat with my uncles wife but she also left us she is gone far away from all of us ... used to go to grandmas house and now not any more cant even hear her taiking coz she got hydrocephelous .... used to sit with all of them and watch tv or waik on the beach ... but now nothing nothing just me and my books ... me the chocoholic girl well known a big chocolate eater ... not any more eating chocolate just sick from it ... missing home and praying to god that these 3 years will just go quickly so i could once again be with them ....:sorry: .....many thing happening and i'm not joining even 3ed .... :weep: :weep: :weep: :weep: :weep: :weep: :weep: :weep:
i wanna go home :angre: :weep: :bang:
Its alright.. kinda the same as oman , cause i get to eat iftar with a family i happen to know since a long time..and they cook for me all sorts of omani food , plus am in an muslim country and so its all good.
miss my family and our talks on the table though.
al7amdulillah 3ala kul 7al. :)

Well, you kinof have difficulties the first time u fast away from home in un-islamic country, then u just get used to it(at least i am). U dont really feel the spirit of the month, it is like any other month over here. May god accept our fasting.
