Often in Ramadhan we miss some days of fasting and that could be for any reason, sickness, menstrual cycle, travelling, etc..

I heard that you have to repay the days day after after Ramadhan, not just any day... Is this true? If yes, may you please refer your answer to a verse from the Quran or Hadith.

Thanks

Sorry.. I guess I did make a little of no sense.

Anyway,, I didn't mean in Shawal.. I know it can be done anytime all through the year but let's keep my question in an example, it'll be easier to understand.

Example: I have 8 days to repay the days I didn't fast in Ramadhan.

Now, after Ramadhan.. do I have to repay those days continuosly, like 8 days all in one go.. or can I fast 3 days then another 1 day after a month then 2 days after a week, and so on.

I hope it's explainable now!

Thanks..

different school of thoughts have different opinion about this I think.
but Scholars in Oman say that you should fast the pre pay days continiously because u didnt fast them togther. as long as the days are broken tother, they should be repaid togther.

Thanks :)

But you see it still doesn't mention whether we have to fast day after day or seperately... I am seeking for a solid answer..

But anyway, thanks alot .. it was apperciated.

Delecet,

herer wheere it says theh paying has tot be followed by each other:

والراجح وجوب التتابع إلا مع الضرورة

which says: most people thihnik, it has to be aftereachc other unless there was a need not to.

the hadith or ayah is not mentitoned though. But this is a fatwa from mufti, so I guess he must have based his judgment on somethihnig.

I am not trying to argue here, but it's so clear, the mufti says الراجح .. he doesn't really say we have to.

I don't know anything regarding this issue, but I would love to know.. What really makes him mention الراجح? Does he has any clue to say that? Ofcourse he's a mufti and I respect every word he say, but I want to know too.
