1) I am not sure if I really know much about you, tell us how many siblings you got and what number you fall into?!
I have many sisters and brothers, nephews and nieces, and – believe or not – grandchildren (3 to be specific). I can tell you this I have a hard time when its time to buy gifts. You could say that I am one of the youngest in the family.
2) Have you ever wished for something so bad, where you believed its good for you, and it happened but than it turned out to be a big time Trouble?!
I dreamt of studying in US since I was 12 years old. When it finally happened, I hated every second of it. I was alone, the students there hated me, it was a big mistake.

Here are my questions for you bloom:
1) As you are studying 'Human Nutrition", are you most of the time following a certain diet?
2) I believe there are very few Omani nutritionists in Muscat. Would you like to open your own business once you graduate or will you prefer to work for an organization (expl: hospital, fitness center...)?
3) You said that when in the States, the students "hated" you. What was it that they didn't like about you?
4) You also said that "marriage is not for you" as you don't match any of the standards found in Oman. What makes you so different than the others and what is your ideal man to say that "marriage is for you"?
5) In one of the novel you wrote, you chose to narrate a story about a girl. Why did you go for a raped girl in particular?
Thanks and more questions are coming soon...:)

Bloom you writes novels in english or arabic??
find people who write novels very patient .. I write short stories because I really want to know the ending of the story so fast .. I cant wait for 200 pages to finish :)
I didnt get you in the marraige thing, what do you mean that scoiety needs certain standered and you dont have them?
Okay – so far I am very impressed on your interview Bloom, I guess interviewing you was the best choice I made :D, however I got a question for you as I will give some chance to other members, as I am sure they would really want to ask you too.
In your previous reply about the Novel which you wrote about a girl who was raped and where the novel takes you on how she recovered her life etc.. hmmm is it a true based story?! Or you just wrote it out of imagination?! Plus will we get the chance to read your Novels one day, as I am already looking forward …:)

never in my life, i am a big fan of fast food, and chocolates.
2) I believe there are very few Omani nutritionists in Muscat. Would you like to open your own business once you graduate or will you prefer to work for an organization (expl: hospital, fitness center...)?
my dream is to open a wedding planning company. i mean take care of everythig food, music, ....etc
i am also thinkng of a healthy cafe, you know for the ppl who suffer diabetes and other illnesses.
3) You said that when in the States, the students "hated" you. What was it that they didn't like about you?
the way i was treated, like in class no one wanted me to be their partners. they were very careful with me because of my hijiab.
4) You also said that "marriage is not for you" as you don't match any of the standards found in Oman. What makes you so different than the others and what is your ideal man to say that "marriage is for you"?
this need a thread of its own.........
5) In one of the novel you wrote, you chose to narrate a story about a girl. Why did you go for a raped girl in particular?
cause it happens in our commuinty. and i wanted to show ppl what its like to be the victim.

i am very different in the way i look , they way i deal with life and the way i see my future. and i can't add more cause its a long story
i see my ideal man as........he has to love as i am with my mode swings, respect me as an individual, and respect my right of privacy. he should be adventrouse (in terms of exploting new dishes), unpredictable, love children, know how to cook, respect my family and never try to take me away from them

1) Bloom wouldn't you agree that as a nutritionist, eating fast food and chocolates is not the best exemple of healthy, low calorie food?
2) Imagine that you are already working. Do you think that as a nutritionist you can eat yourself the wrong food (meaning a high calrorie or fatty diet) and still advise your clients to eat the opposite?
3) If I was coming to you for a diet, what would you recommend me to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Give an exemple of one day only of good nutrition.
4) You said that your 'dream is to open a wedding planning company'. What does this have to do with what you are currently studying?

Good, good. So now that you are studying nutrition, what do you think of the nutrition of a typical Omani family, is our food healthy, does it contain too much fat, are their wrong eating practises, etc...

i 100% agree with what you say, its not a healthy food at all. but if you were carefuel and choose right then there is no problem.
2) Imagine that you are already working. Do you think that as a nutritionist you can eat yourself the wrong food (meaning a high calrorie or fatty diet) and still advise your clients to eat the opposite?
its not, cause its being a hypocrite. so in shaa allah when i start to work i am follow my advise 1st before i give it to ppl.
3) If I was coming to you for a diet, what would you recommend me to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Give an exemple of one day only of good nutrition.
i would tell to eat breakfast as a king, lunch as a prince and dinner as a poor man. breakfast is the most important meal, you should have a meal that have all the basic group. cereal with milk and fruits is the best way to start your day. at lucnh start with a salad, and then your carbohydrates and protein, followed by fruits.at dinner a sandwhich made of brown bread is the beat choice.
4) You said that your 'dream is to open a wedding planning company'. What does this have to do with what you are currently studying?
its does not. it will be sort of an extra job. and i could use some of my skills in organising the buffet for the guests :D

it contain too much fat, and too much carbohydrates. and little amount of vegetables. although they eat lots of fruits, which is wrong. i mean there are certain or limited servings for each food group. i remember in one of the threads someone posted an image of a food pyramid.
and i noticed in ramdhan and Eid ppl eat lots of protein, its like all the fasting is watsted. when i was in hospital many ppl use to come to us with high cholestrol, and this is always after Eid.
Do you cook your food yourself? :6:
