Are you someone who spends an unecessary amount of money in something you enjoy having, but don't really need?

Is this a daily, weekly or a monthly habit, and what are the things you often buy just for the sake of it? Tell us if there are times when you just can't control this desire of spending?

No I don't, but my wife sure does create havoc with her creidt card which I pay the bill. :(

But being the good little hubby I am, I just smile and tell her she is worth it.

gadgets and gizmos, that's my weakness.

everytime i go to the electronics shop i see a new product on the shelf that looks so sexy and it starts calling my name, it say "Oh Mo buy me please buy me". and i have this weakness for slim sexy creatures so i close my eyes and give the man my credit card and worry about the bill later when it arrives at the end of the month.

No, I don't waste my money on something I don't need. And from the religion point (I know some members don't like it when I include the religion in most of the posts :)) of view we are suppose to use our money wisely why. Because on the day of judgement one of the things each person will be asked is his money, where did he get it from? And how did he spent it?

Saying that, I prefer to invest my excess money to bring more money and to be another source of income instead of buying useless things for no real added value.

whenever i saw magazines and books i can not go out of that book shop without spending all what i have sometime i avoid going there cuz most of these books i didnt read and most of the magazine my friends took them. :D

I don't spend alot unless it's necessary..

Right, I'm the type of person who buys good stuff, and I care about the quality very much. I'd pay more if what I am buying something is worth it... for example: if I want to buy a top, and there are two similar ones. I'd go for the one that has the quality and buy it although it's more expensive..
When I buy something, it should be SOMETHING, NOT ANYTHING!

Ummm, there's nothing that I buy always.. after all, I'm a student and can't pay yet for anything :p

At times I am the world's most organised person, I know how much to spend and how to calculate it all, but just at times, I will go out and buy all these CDs, DVDs and computer stuff. *looks at the Skip Doctor he bought two days back, and do I have anything to fix with it?* lol, I think that I am kind of a spender actually. :D

I have this problem which is that I can't walk through a woman's shop and not feel tempted to buy something. Most of the time I don't need anything but I just have this urge to buy some clothes, some accessories or something for my house (especially if I pass by City Plaza or City Center!).

I have to admit that few years ago I was really bad at spending, especially for my kids. I couldn't go back home daily without bringing them a toy, even if it was a small one. They were spoiled to the neck and I recognize that it was too much. I ended up donating bags and bags of toys.

I am still very weak when it comes to women products and cooking books. If I see an attractive cooking book I have to buy it whether I really use it or not! Yesterday, I bought five of them at Marks & Spencer, just because the recipes look good...doesn't necessarily mean that I will experiment them :(

alhamdulilah I am not a spender .. I have this policy .. if I dont need anything I should just go shpoing .. so when I enter a shop .. I go stright to the thing I want to buy and them come out ..
the only time I go around to shop is when I am in another country.

I love clothes. I feel really guilty at times coz I love to shop. I would not say im a big spender but I just enjoy shopping.I dont know how to do the thing AP does, go into a shop and get exactly what you want. I cant resist the wondering about .But I've learn to deal with this new concept for every new thing I buy I should give away another. So whenever I buy soemthing means I have to let go of something else. Thats kinda been of help too when its time to spring clean.

I like buying stuff sara7a like cloths and perfumes and things for me...
i waste my money alot and i dont keep them, a9lan if i have something in my poket i dont sleep at night,, i keep on thinking about where to waste them, or what am i going to buy.

there are three things in this world that i like to spend my money on:
1- food (chocolate, manchies and resturants.....etc)
2- sleeping wear (now that i am in uk, i am more crazy)
3- novels (i can find lots of second hand here :) )

I am not really a very big spender - Well i don;t like shopping as a very start .

However - if i do happen to spend,,, it will be sure for something I need so bad - and something i always wanted to have ... something which I love.

MY husband is a VERY huge spender - thats why his salary is conroled by MOE! :rolleyes: ;)

i spend money like anything .... if i have my visa card which my mom makes sure i dont ... i dont care just go n spend as much as i can!!!! i have a serious problem ... :weep:

I can control my spending. Im not a shopoholic or something but I do love to spend whatever I have. Although in cases where I need to save up money for something else then I can handle that...

I have a visa card too but there's not much to spend from.
I usually use it when im in Dubai.

Having credit card at 20 is something very nomral. Back when I was in University, I was 19 and had my credit card and all my international friends had credit cards.

Hmm , Well I'll probably buy makeup & Accessories , But I can't help not buying Perfume , I just love buying Perfumes :p
