Here is my version of FastHacking's Endless Space, what do you think guys?

its cool.. though not really my thing. i like the font and the whole text thing..but am not too fond of the colors.

really loved the colores in thois design , Blue Chi . great
did youi do this effect from scratch , or is it another Photoshop effect ?
the font is cool, and it fits the design perfectly.

well , overall. if that was a photoshop effect . i will not call this a design , cauys everyone can do it , nothin speacial about it .
but if you did the effect . mmm . i'd say that their is some effort .

looks like a an african violet patel. Nice work not particulary my cup of tea, colour is a bit on the boring side .Btw what exactly is the inter- relatiosnhip between the wordings and the image of Endless Space??

Well, what si the difference between using a photoshop filter and a making the effect manualy? Photoshop makes life easier, this does not mean that the work is not yours, but it shows that you are smarter, because you reduce the time you take in the making as you use more advanced filters, you don't MAKE the font that you use, you don't MAKE the colours that you use, you just combine ready made items to create your work, if you cannot tell the difference between manually made design and filter generated design, then what is the point in asking? It is the final ORIGINAL look that matters.

That was meant to be said long time ago.

Some people dont call designs done by PSP or some APS or MFW or UPI ...
I know a friend of mine who have a friend of him, who design using Windows Paint which you can find it in the accessories :s and he dont believe on other softwares. He's satisfied with that program.
So, I think everone look for the suitable and the capable programs for his/her abilities and imagination though :S

Anyways lets go back to the real theard here.

At the first I wanted to open new theard for my modified image. BUT since some treated me as A DEAD MEMBER HERE and ignored my theards and went to active member's theard,, so I will better post it here. Whenever I wanted to open new theard I will definitly ask any lady in the Sabla or someone who's active :D

This one looks cool FastHacking, I love the text effect you've used, I can't make the exact same thing using fireworks easily, also you've used the hexagons in a good way, but I think that the lines that you put should be in white, and the text you've written should be clearer.
