View Full Version : A Strongest Letter To The Usa President
The following letter was sent to President George W. Bush and Vice-President **** Cheney in strong opposition to the nomination of Daniel Pipes to Board of Director of the US Institute of Peace is indeed peace.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Vice-President **** Cheney
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Mr. President and Mr. Vice-President:
We are dismayed by your nomination of Daniel Pipes, the Director of the Middle East Forum, to the Board of Directors of the United States Institute of Peace. You have truly been badly advised on this nomination.
Your historic administration keeps on emphasizing that it is not against Islam or the Muslim world. But we have had wars against two Muslim countries so far (Afghanistan and Iraq) and two other Muslim countries have been threatened by members of your administration (Syria and Iran).
And now, to add insult to injury, Daniel Pipes has been nominated by your administration to help shape the policies of the US Institute of Peace. Daniel Pipes is a notorious Islamophobe. It is even arguable that Pipes and Steve Emerson are two of the most dangerous threats in this country to good relations between Muslims, Christians and Jews. Both Emerson and Pipes repeatedly come close to hate-mongering, with negative consequences for all three Abrahamic religions.
If the mission of the US Institute of Peace is indeed peace, hate-mongers have no place in its decision-making. With Pipes on the Board of this Institute, its decisions about Muslims both here and elsewhere would appear less objective. Moreover, many Muslims may no longer be able to cooperate with this Institute or avail themselves of the splendid services it is designed to render.
Please reconsider your nomination before you do a lot of damage to the US Institute of Peace and to inter-faith dialogue in this country.
Yours sincerely,
Ali A. Al-Mazrui, D.Phil., (Oxon)
Director
Institute of Global Cultural Studies
Desert_Sloath 01-10-03, 08:22 PM And since when did Bush I & II ever care of what muslims would think ? It is upon muslims to decide how to respond to the US under Bush and one of the suggestion is to protest by muslim leaders to shan the US and it's allies by not cooperating with them on anything. I, i, i mean going on a peaceful strike like not talking to the Ambassador by not responding to his contacts ? But this should be a reaction of all muslim countries. Can't we learn somthing from the Great Leader of India Mehananda Mahtmah Ghandi ? We don't have to be seen shouting in the streets but sit at home and remain quiet. His Excellency the Ambassador would go crazy telling Colling Powell sloths are not responding to my contacts because of your stupid irresponsible decision.
Haiyaa Awlad al -Arab try it.
MoonChild 01-10-03, 09:08 PM Interesting fellow, it appears that most Jewish groups opposed his appointment as well.
He's right though, dead men don't fight back
We gotta get the fundies out of office...
Desert_Sloath 01-10-03, 09:48 PM Giving the devil it's right, he is a man of charisma. Listening to him he is really a political crocodile due to his power of persuasion. When he talks about the ME peace process and his vision of Iraq after the Ba`ath regime there you end up agreeing with his dreams. He is somehow genious, with the only snag of him being manipulated by the boys in Tell Habib.
It is good to hear the reservations of al -Mazrui'e but let us see what he could do, as the saying goes and I give President Bush 100% for using a thief to catch a thief. Who knows if this guy who engineered the Iraqi chase would not make a good job for the suffering Palestinian people.
I'd love to see the day Palestinians move into the settlements and get compensated for the material destructions and spirit they have been suffering all these years.
May be the move by President Bush is a wise move let us wait we have waited for centuries and we can wait for a couple of more days. I'd like to give the president benefit of the doubt.
What say you guys ?

sanwin25 02-10-03, 03:49 AM I admire Mr. Pipes and I believe President Bush did the right thing by selecting him INSPITE of all the moaning and groaning by Muslim groups.
(where were these people when a group of Muslims flew airplanes into office buildings ?)
Both Emerson and Pipes repeatedly come close to hate-mongering, with negative consequences for all three Abrahamic religions. Is the end goal to set up a religion based government. I don't think so.
sanwin25 02-10-03, 04:23 AM Instead of worrying about Pipes, maybe those guys should be worried about the wayward elements in their religion, like the recent muslim chaplins in Gauntanomo Bay who were working against the state, like worms trying to eat away a tree from the inside ?
How soon before Muslims are not allowed in the US Military ?
Wasn't it Mr. Bush who invited the muslim community leaders to ramadan dinner at the White house in Dec 2001.....I can't remember any invitations coming in for any American presidents regardless of how many times they had Afrafat in the USA.
Wasn't it Osama bin Laden who said it is natural for people to follow the stronger horse?
Now tell me.....who is being hunted and can't show his face?
Who is asking the American people to pay 87 billion dollars to help build an Islamic country?
Cheers

They are too dependent on electronics, and they chose to zzzzzing when the best side of the jewish mind went to work by placing blame on a right decoy :color: So, my friend sanwin25 let those half asleep gentiles follow a wrong red herring. Don't you know it yet that we the jews have a gifted power to manipulate the dogs ? I mean the sleeping dogs. :kewl:
And and and don't guide them to ban muslims in the US Army because if they do so we are going to face it too. Remember our hero Jonathan who is behind the bars in the states and whom our Prime Minister tried hard to beg Clinton to release ? Ooh if you are to dig deeper you'd leak our plot to prematurely get Clinton out of office as a result of our planting that Whytehouse intern. Remember Lewinsky story ? We are already eating the foundations of US policy my dear sanwin25. The evidence is as you can see Bush is so dependent on our kinds and can not think freely and when he does he talks like Mr Sharon. Only when we want something from the sloths then we'd allow him to occasionaly speak with a tongue on the che chee cheek to show sloths that he does reprimand us.
Next we are going to change the US constitution first 4b we see muslims out of the US Armies. You are right, they are a stumbling block.
D_SOoh if you are to dig deeper you'd leak our plot to prematurely get Clinton out of office as a result of our planting that Whytehouse intern. Remember Lewinsky story ?You finely showed your true colors...you are a REPUBLICAN at heart.
There is storm brewing in the Whithouse now, that the Democrats will use to their upmost advantage in the coming elections. Maybe you wont have to deal with Bush after next november. Bad news is another terriost act occurs on US soil or kills innocent US citizens around the world, it wont matter what party is in the Whitehouse the US will respond.
muslims out of the US ArmiesI don't see this happening in the near future. What I do see if a muslim cannot perform his duty as an american first in the armed forces, he will be released, as he should be.
So the topic is about nominating Pipes, and the result is muslims being shoot at
like the recent muslim chaplins in Gauntanomo Bay who were working against the state, like worms trying to eat away a tree from the inside ?
LOL!!
Hey u read about that leak of CIA member identity from the white house?
I guess christians are not to be trusted anymore as a result

4the very 1st time you are wrong. It's not "REPUBLICAN" but a 'Zionist'. It took us long time to achieve where we are today. We employ, we command, and direct both internal / external policies of the USA. I simply don't see why sanwin25 can't see it.
Shinoda LP 02-10-03, 10:25 PM Everything that goes wrong in the world today, is naturally being blamed directly or indirectly on Muslims.
Wonder why?
Guess there actually is something wrong at home.
Those 'Islamic scholars' should teach Muslims around the world to stop hating the West, and to grow up.
shamsery 02-10-03, 10:59 PM Evilio,
Some of our friend is more Christians than pope , some gypsy are more American than Bush.

In Islamic countries there are two political polarities. One that listen to the Westerner and the other to those "Islamic scholars" you have mentioned. First establish where those two stands and then you can say what you have said but present it in a 'plain' language. So your statement is vague here so ? 2speak.
U wanna hear more ?
Shinoda LP 03-10-03, 09:19 PM For me, its plain and simple.
Picking up guns, and using Allah's name to kill is a very bad alibi.
Whatever the claims may be.
I do not agree with the Shiv Sena or BajrangDal either (Indian pro-Hindu extremist groups). Their motive is to keep westernisation out of India, and to keep other religions at their own backyard.
That's nearly about what these so-called jihadi end up doing, though they preach it is because of the attack against Islam or whatever.
What would I think? Wrong teachings and preachings. Wise people end up repenting the black mark that has been cast on Islam ever since such attacks have been happening (all around the world).

I wish you were born in the early 1970s when the American Cowboys were riding on the back of the Jihad but Jiyad (saddles) in Afghanistan chassing the mighty Soviet Union. The very so called Islam scholars are the ones who mobilised the 'Jiyad' for a fighting in Afghanistan and the leaders of the campaign called themselves Mujahideen but 'Mujayideen'. The United States Under the Presidentiship of the Ex-CIA director Bush senior hoped his country would capitalise on 'Mujayideen' but later on to realised that he had miscalculated then things started to fall apart. Americans have only managed to enter Afghanistan by use of indiscreminate force and would have never entered politically believe me.
Those who carry guns are just elements of the 'mujayideens' believe me and not representation of muslim proper. Those a typically zombies left over the initial american jiyads. Do whatever you want to do with them they are yours once they decided to join the 'mujayideens no one will regret.
As Scholar Abashir in Indonesia said probe deep on the so called islamists and you will finds traces of the finger prints of CIA and MOSAD.
plutarch 04-10-03, 05:10 PM Doctors, if they followed this kind of reasoning :
Scholar Abashir in Indonesia said probe deep on the so called islamists and you will finds traces of the finger prints of CIA and MOSAD
would be treating all patients for leukemia instead of strep.
"When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses, not zebras"
Welcome Plutarch........forgive me for asking .what do you mean?
Are you saying something about CIA in Indonesia?
What do Islamic crazies have to do with anything?
I lost $50,000 dollars in Indonesia to the jihad gangs........and 40 of my staff lost their jobs.........plus 200 of their family members, all supported by my American company............now discontinued after 20 years of good business......all gone because of jihad.........
Cheers
