I was just wondering, and this is to the married ones.... do you get insomnia when your husband or wife is not sleeping the night at home?

My husband is quite frequently onCall and when he is, I can't sleep ..... sleepiness just runs out of the door!! The same thing happens to my husband when I had to fly to a conference for 3 days.... he kept on telling me that he just struggles to sleep at night!!

Do you have similar experiences?

I don't think its insomnia, either one of them is missing the warmth of other partner :D

I have no problems with sleeping, as soon as I have my head on the pillow im in my 7th dream!

My husband takes sometime to fall asleep, but it’s not hard to sleep if one of us is out of station. We just dream of each other

if that was the case with me I would never sleep  as my husband works outside the city the whole week. :weep:

I don't have problem with this.

But even if one of them can't sleep the first night, next day things will be better and will get used to it.

Well - i take time to sleep anyway - i wish i was like some1 as only as i put my head on the pelow i fall a sleep that would have been great,

But hmm maybe its because u are worried and your mind is thinking a lot.. so it happens its not insomnia as you called it.. it caring :)

Missing the tight hug coud be a valid reason :D
