Istikhara Prayer

Definition: it's a prayer where Muslims approach Allah closely asking if what they want to do is good or not for them.

Examples:
-You have two choices, Business and Engineering, so you pray Istikhara to ask what doors open a bright future for you, Business or Engineering.

-You want to propose to a woman, before you do, you pray Istikhara to ask Allah whether or not you take a forward step.

-Someone has proposed to you, so you pray Istikhara to know whether or not this marriage will be good for you or not.

My Question:
This prayer is prayed when people are confused, and don't know what decisions to take. But, I am in a situation where my heart leans to one thing, and I'm very confident about my choice. But ofcourse, I want to pray Istikhara and see if this is good for me or not. Is it still all right to pray Istikhara even though my heart has an attraction to one of my choices?

it is alright to pray istikhara ofcourse, and you can also ask someone to pray it for yout too.

I see praying Istikhara as asking blessings from ALlah when you are doing something .. and it helps knowing that Allah didnt stop you from doing a certain thing to feel you content with what you are doing.

I don't think so, the person him/herself should pray to get the result in the dream.

Oh no.. someone could pray it for you and dream and then tell you what he/she saw :)

Either could do,,, but it's always better if you do it alone, ofcourse.
