Who wants to do the interviews for 3 months?

Dear Members,

As I have mentioned this week, the Member Lounge takes a lots of my time and some help would be really appreciated in certain areas.

The Sabla team has agreed to put the weekly interviews in the members hands.

Per consequence, it has been decided that we will all choose (via a vote) a member to conduct, twice a week, a different interview. The selected member will be fully in charge for a period of three (3) months, where after that a new member will take over via another vote. This will give a chance to many to be in control of the interviews for a certain period of time.

I would like anyone, who is interested to start these interviews, to put their name down in this thread which will be closed on Sunday 28th Sept. A poll shall then be opened till the 30th and the winner is expected to start the first week of October.

Thanks Neena for your positive answer and it seems you are the only one in the list for now, so who knows you might be the first to start the interviews!

Let's see if before this coming Sunday other members come foward to volunteer to do this weekly job too. :)

Two questions:

1) Do you agree for a vote made by the members as I first suggested in this thread? Or do you feel that the first person (ie: Neena) who puts his/her nick here should be selected for the first 3 months, second person (ie: amoOor) for the next 3 months and so on...?

2) If you agree on a vote after this Sunday deadline, do you prefer a poll or can we vote here the way Blind Melon already did it by selecting Big MO?

Interviews Periods:

1) Neena: 1st Oct. - 31st Dec.
2) amoOor: 1st Jan. - 31st March
3) Big MO: 1st April - 30th June.
4) IceTea: 1st July - 30th Sept.

If one of the above members are not available (or offline) for a long period of time when his/her turn is approaching, the next candidate will take over his/her position.

Exy The plan is ok.

Neena I think you should use the interview tempelate prepared by Exy before and just modify it to suit the member.

I personally think that it will be a bit boring if we all follow exactly the same style and would prefer for each of you to come out with something a bit different at least in the presentation. It is advisable though to follow from there a certain pattern and have a neat presentation.

I leave it all to you: which member to interview / how to contact them and which technique to use to know who is next / which interesting questions to ask...ect.

The only requirement is that you have to conduct two interviews per week (not one, not three), as this number has previously been studied by the members and admin. It is your job to keep them lively when there is no participation.

I will only add a link in the Interviews Archives to update it.
