Hello, uhhhhhhhhhhh, My Name is Eminem and I have a problem. I wonder if any one can help me.

I have two freinds who don't like each other,One of them is a feminist and the other is too proud of being a male.Thoes two are always fighting, they never agree with each other.They're always causing caios when ever we go. Oh I'm so sick of them.

However, one night, I've envited both of them for a party in my house and when every one else left we were left with alot of alcohol in the house [ they both don't drink].

We had a mad happy night for the first time in years. But then my grand Pa called me and told me that he was sick and so I had to leave the two of them and stay with my grand pa.

When I came back in the morning, I thought that my house will be torn apart, but things were different. My two freinds were very happy and got on very well with each other.

I was very pleased for a week until, I arrived once home and saw this;

That feminest **** has already alot kids and that son of a b***h{female dog} is absolotley usless. He can't even make his way out of a paper bag.


To make this clear. My question is: Is it possible to have a freindship {just freindship} between two of a different sex?

Some1, don't believe the story. The story is fake, it is about imagination, and it is there because I wanted to say that I don't think that I will never make a very close freind to someone from a different sex unless I'm a freind of their partner. I don't know about you or any one else, but I dout it.

Before .. I used to think that two people of different sexes can be two close togther and talk about anything freely if thier heart is clear .. but .. I saw and heard about alot of cases at the end .. one ends loving the other and sometimes makes thier heart broken because the other feels its only friendship !!!
Now I think .. no matter what .. when a person gets so close to you .. and you start telling everything infront them you start being attached to them ( especially girl) so it end being a love story instead of clear friendship !

The way I see it, I think it's very confusing and I think it depends on whether any partners are in the case.

Forexample, Freindship might work all right and turn into love if neither sides do have partners. However, if one side does have one and the other don't, then the last might leave with a broken hart. Therefore, the only way to make such freindship going is to make both sides have partners who are freinds as well.

I'm sure there alot of other factors that migh not prove this right, but that's my idae about it

Well for me i might agree with both 4-ever-young and Arabprnces!! its true that in a freind ship between both sex's might lead to a love story at the end.. but thats not always the case.. maybe they do understand each other but they dont get along together if the aot to be lovers.. wallahi it depends on the to people at the end as 4-ever-young said..

Well I think that a platonic relationship between the 2 sexes is possible if that's what they both want and agree on, but I found that it is often hard to keep one that way if the guy I like as a friend only is fairly new in my life. But if it was a friend I had since school then usually we never think of each other as anything other than friends.

really even when there is a strong frienship ,there is always a least 5% of seduction ,the girls generally need to be admired ,and i don't know w guy who accept to feel unatractive in front a girl,but i found out some cases when this friendship could work out:
- they are both close friends but the girl or the boy is too ugly ,so even if the mind go for it,the body can't follow.
- one of them have already a boy/girlfriend,and she/he are very jealous and violent,so it will be too dangerous to be attractive to each other
- one are from adifferent ,country,religion,color,language,so you know that you can't allow your self to love him.
and that's it for the other cases,it's really unusual ;)

Ok.. there are some cultures who are really used to build a friendship between girls & boys.. so in this case.. mybe they wont reach to the love story.. because they are almost used to having both sex relation as friends..
but if, for example, a girl is not used of having a guy as a friend.. & she bulids a relataion with one only.. then in this case.. it goes to dangour!!! cause it's unusual .. & I wouldn't advise for this.. plus in our society .. this is elegal.. cause most of the girls are having boyfriends but behind the eyes of their family.. (not all but some) ..

well,, you can build a limited relation in Sabla mathalan.. but not going out ..& talking on the phone.. & blah blah blah..

Sorry again Some1 , if you didn't get the Cat Dog thing. The whole thing lies in my emagination, I described the possibility of a freindship between boys and girls like that one between Cats and Dogs, which is "quit imposible".And because I think it only can happen if their is some sort of sexsual relationship "in the case of the boy and girl" or something unusual to happen like the drink "between a cat and a dog".

It's just some kind of imagination to describe an openion.

My best best best friend ever is MALE! He has a girlfriend and i have a boyfriend...but we are still very close friends and we talk about everything together...i tell him my problems and he tells me his problems...that doesnt mean that all friendships between male and female have to turn out being RELATIONSHIPS about LOVE...no way!

My boyfriend knows my BEST FRIEND(who is called HISAN)...and he trusts him....we all trust eachother...sooo i hope all of you get the stupid idea out of your head because friendship between male and female is absolutely possible!

Well your story is one of the very rare stoires i guess it doesnt mean that it would happen to each and every couple would it!!

It is a remarkable story which shows that some way somehow frienship between the opposite sexes does exsist!

I tend to agree with samia but again it depends on both sexes on what do they think about each other. I guess it is difficult and extremely rare to find such situations as you are. I have to say you are lucky samia and all da best with the rest of us :)

I think this depends on the way we are brought up..
for example.. at home.. there's no way my family would accept these types of relations.. they actually know that I deal with guys at work plus collage.. but ofcourse this is in a limit.. we joke.. sometimes we call eachother for meeting-up to study in the collage.. or if we have any doubts reagrding our courses.. that's all.. but not beyond that.. & I fully agree in this way.. cause that's the way I was brought up.. & most of the people in Oman are.. there are some acceptance..like your case Samia.. :)
