every society have people who are considered specials .. I call them that but the society calls them ( disabled people) ..
what is the society and we are doing to help these catogry of people? did you ever think of doing anything to help this catogrey .. you will say what can I do .. beleive me there is alot .. you have only to think ..
the simplist thing that you can do is not to park in thier special parking .. I see alot of people .. who are normal but they park in thier parking .. what will happen if a person who cannot walk came .. he will need to park far !
secondly .. there is an assosiation that is made for them .. if u have some extra time .. and you do not know what to do .. be a member there and help the assosiation help them ..
and the most imprtant thing .. is treat them like normal people .. do not ever feel sorry for them or help them just because u have to .. help them becauase you care about them and because to help yourself enrich your soul and feel taht you are doing somthing important for your society ..
hope u have more ideas how to help them ..

good topic..
we should thank Allah for our health whenever we see them.. we should know how value is our health.. & above all.. we should always remember that they are better than us.. cause Allah loves them.. he doesn't want them to do Ma3asi .. we do allot.. & they gain Thawab.. so they should be luckier in any case.. I love them allot.. I really wish if I could visit them sometimes.. I'm sure I'll love them more..
Wish that all people think the way you do!! well to me i feel that those people are more belssed from Allah then normal people.. they excpet everything that comes from allah! but for us we go miskeeen/miskeena!! The prophet (PBUH) said if we see such people we should say "allahoma a7sin '7oloqi kama a7santa '7alqi"
Does anyone do that??

As you all said ..
those people are blessed by Allah because they are special .. Allah took from them something but Allah is always fair and will compensate them with another thing ..
But sometimes those people lose faith life and why? because humans do not treat them the special way they should be treated ..
In Oman for example .. true there are some assosiations that are made to help them .. but those are voluntory assosation .. and last year they were looking for people and the number turned out wasnt that big !
I hope one day there will be a very special center for them .. for all kind of speciaal needs people .. it can be privat .. any way everywhere in teh world it is private and the equipment needed for them are actually expensive .. but then why people open new hotels .. open new malls and forget some important sector like this !!!
As I said .. we should not only stop in saying why .. we should try our best to help them .. in any tiny way .. and ALLAH BLESS THEM AND US ..AMEEEN

One of the reasons i dread the thought of working where i'm supposed to work (soon!) is bcz it will take up most of my day which leaves me very little time just about enough for my family.
I would really like to contribute part of my time in voluteering. We need to stop thinking for once about the cutbacks of society and start dealing with it ourselves, bcz really, who makes up the society? its ppl like u and me !
As for the ppl who are less advantaged in any society, they have rights as much as any so called "normal" human being has. Its a shame that many parents don't feel comfortable to take their handicapped children around in public places. Ppl r still not easy with that, and i guess thats bcz of the funny vibes and stares they get from the ppl around even though they try to hide it. This shows how uneducated ppl r and therefore we need to make ppl more aware of it.
I yesterday saw on Oprah a story about a woman who lost her sight. She was first devastated, but then she moved her energy towards painting & art although she never had interest in drawing. Her pictures are amazing (really, not just bcz she's blind) and now they are in one of the biggest galleries in america.
Don't feel sorry for them. Don't try to give them things or put them away in some community more "fit" to them. But try to treat them more as Human Beings. Have faith in them. And i'm sure that they will amaze you.
I told this quote to somone a few days ago:
" When fate gives you a lemon....make a lemonade"
so, the Q is, what r we going to do about it?
