First Mother's Day
Little girls have always dreamed,
Of one day being grown;
Of having a home and family,
And children of their own.
As little girls they played the games,
With dollies cuddled near;
Of being grown up Mommies,
And now that day is here.
For cuddled sweetly in her arms,
Of the little girl now grown;
Is the sweetest dream she ever dreamed,
A baby of her own.
In all the years of growing up,
In the games that little girls play;
None will ever be so sweet,
As her very first Mother's Day.

juneboy55 21-09-03, 04:26 PM Mother's Sweetest Song
The first time that she held me,
Was underneath her heart;
God placed me there to feel her love,
Right from the very start.
The first time I heard a lullaby,
Her voice, so soft and warm;
In that haven of peace and slumber,
Nestled safely in her arms.
It was the sweetest melody,
Of love that lingers long;
The lullaby she sang to me,
Was my Mother's sweetest song.
Then as I went through childhood,
Her wisdom helped me grow;
A Mother's love to guide me,
To learn what I should know.
Looking back I wonder,
Was there a time she wasn't there?
No matter where life led me,
I was in my Mother's prayers.
Now winter winds blow softly,
'Cross love that lingers long;
In the beauty of the memory,
Of my Mother's sweetest song.

juneboy55 21-09-03, 04:37 PM A MOTHER'S LOVE
A mother's soft and gentle touch,
Her caring, tender hands;
Know when her children need her,
They seem to understand.
They have a language of their own,
Communicate so well;
Speak softly to her children's hearts,
More than mere words can tell.
A mother's warm and loving arms,
Can soothe a baby's cry;
The sweetest song of tenderness,
In a mother's lullabye.
Her arms know when to hold them close,
And drive away their fears;
They comfort and protect you,
'til problems disappear.
A mother's kind, soft-spoken words,
Can be a soothing balm;
To smooth the stormy seas of life,
And make the waters calm.
Her soft voice whispers love to them,
Sings to them as they sleep;
Of angels that watch over them,
Of how they guard and keep.
There's nothing like a mother's heart,
Her love...her prayers...her smile;
God placed these all within her,
To give back to her child.

Now, that my left just foor steps and left me young, I feel that, and I wish I have given her all the love she deserved everyday.. I didn't make it though, and I regret it very much..
