Hayyak.. a pre paid card used in cell phones by many people.
Well, don't you think we should be able to get those cards to re fill our credits online? I mean, there should be a web site where we can buy cards from. What do you people think?

Well not only Hayyak.. but those other cards too. Like, Jibreen and that other card for the internet..

Hmm.. How would people pay for them online? Credit card? Its not worth it..

And plus.. I dont think its a good idea... I mean specially for phone pre-paid credit.. Cause then it would be very easy for you to just go online buy another card whenever you finish your cell units.. instead of, for example, postponing buying it till you go out or something! And that would definetly cost you a fortune!!

I know it would cost me! I mean, it not being online wont stop me from buying more credits when i have finished mine!! LOL!
I just go out and buy ... and pay and pay and pay! sheesh!:tiered:

let them first open the SMS service for Hayyak. they can't afford all that advanced Technology in one go.

We barely have any online services in Oman, and making a money related service online would be difficult to proceed in our country as a very small portion of the public has experienced shopping online, in other words, no one is going to buy the cards online in Oman.

if omantel did that, it would be the only good thing they EVER did

but i dont think any one would re-fill his credit from the internet

I guess I should agree that they should do many things before they get started with this..
But, I still think it's useful, and they need to open more opportunities for the Omani people to get stuff online.. I mean, if we just stay like that saying none will do, then that's what's going to happen.. !!

lets talk about it from a business point of view ..

who usually have Hayak, people who have no stable income. You need a credit card inorder to be able to buy it online.
People with no stable inocme (students and so) cannot apply for credit card or do not use them. So the whole point of selling it online is not very apealing.

it can be done in away or another I cant think of one now!!
But in Uk they do it! and student do buy thier cards via net Not neccessarly using credit cards!

Aha Thug4Life :) I know what you mean,, they buy a card from a store and then use this card online.. This card will carry a number. Now, you go to the web site, enter your card number and then you'll be able to get pre paid cards..

For example: I go to a store, buy a 30 rial card. This card will let me buy 6 five rial cards online....

I think that's a perfect idea! Omantel should look into that!
