Just something that really bothers me......

Why don't Mods correct the spelling of the thread titles?

:duh:

Because that's like asking for too much?

I'm serious.

I am too.

Since a lot of members at Sabla have english as their 2nd languages (if not 3rd or 4th), a lot of title errors are bound to happen.

Rather than mods changing it all the time, how about a spell check hack on the title?

I don't know. :bored:

I already asked about the Spell Check thing.....apparently it's too hard to load or something. :duh:

i always change the ones that i notice , but of course i cant do them all and everywhere.

about the spell check hack.. am not sure..but i think that kama answered this in another thread. maybe it costs? or too risky to install. dunno.

I don't find it necessary but if it can be done why not as long as we don't overwork our fine Mods :D

it is better to have spell check option, or at least if the thread starter made a mistake he can modify it himself.

How about correcting the forum titles first!

It's "Suggestions and Enquiries", not "Inquiries". An enquiry is a request for information. An inquiry is an investigation, e.g. into a plane crash or corruption in a ministry.

I'm sure the mods are doing their best.....I never said you weren't. But really.....spell check is needed.....and those title topics really bother me when they are misspelled, and I see lots of 'em!

I never thought "spelling" would matter as much!! But, I guess it's a good idea to have a spell check...

the title of this sabla has been changed... thanks for pointing it out mimosa...

as for the spelling hack...

i will need to look into the hacks avaliable...

so far i have found these:

PHP Spell Checker intergration into vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=54204)

Free Spellchecking is Here (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37398)

i will have to see which one would be best for the Sabla... which one would integrate with no problems...

i will be back in Oman next week inshallah... so by then i will give an answer on this matter inshallah... rememmber free stuff do not always work best...
