View Full Version : Arnold Schwarzenegger Says No More Movies
Source: TheArnoldFans Tuesday, September 16, 2003
TheArnoldFans has some disappointing news for fans who were hoping for Schwarzenegger to star in Terminator 4 and a new Conan movie...
Hours before the courts delayed the October 7th recall election, Arnold and his wife Maria gave their first ever interview together as a couple. The Schwarzenshrivers were on The Oprah Winfrey show yesterday morning and Arnold told the talk show host what will happen to his movie career if elected Governor.
"Obviously I will not be able to do movies anymore because I will be busy for many many hours every day working on the mess that is out there in California. It will be a lot of work and a huge challenge. So my movie career I will have to put aside. But this is much more important to me now."
The producers of Terminator 4 have said a film will go on with or without Arnold.

Californians banished Governor Gray Davis just 11 months into his second term and elected Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger to replace him Tuesday.
Voters traded a career Democratic politician who became one of the state's most despised chief executives for a moderate Republican megastar who had never before run for office. Davis became the first California governor pried from office and only the second nationwide to be recalled.
Schwarzenegger prevailed despite a flurry of negative publicity in the campaign's final days, surviving allegations that he had groped women and accusations that as a young man he expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler.
The 56-year-old Austrian immigrant — husband of television journalist Maria Shriver — finds himself in charge of the nation's most populated state with an economy surpassed only by those of several countries. Schwarzenegger promised to return the shine to a Golden State beset by massive budget problems and riven by deep political divisions.
The actor/politician's movie career will have to be put on hold indefinitely, putting into question some big projects like Terminator 4 and King Conan: Crown of Iron.
