A lot of talk going on success in life.Some say when u feel happy then ur successful person. Is success in life measure by money? Or the famous person is the successful one and he lives happy in his life.

I think that for me, when I say that I want to be "successful", I mean career-wise.

It doesn't have to be limited to career and work only though.

I think a successful person is one who is satisfied with what he/she has, if you are satisfied with what you have, then you are successful I guess. You can have all the money of the world, and still you might not necessarily happy, if you are loved by the person you love, and you have people to trust, that could make you happy if you care about the real things in life.

Different people want different things from life, but satisfaction is the key I guess.

The problem Blue_Chi is that you are never satisfied.. yess others can look at you and think you're successful in life or business or whatever.. but we as humans, we always look high and we never believe that we reached that level of satisfaction even if we are good at what we're doing, we still wanna do better and live better..
I think that people judge you if ur successful in one thing or another but you can't really say im successful.. I think so :lost:

i always measure individual success by 3 things.

1. how much i earn
2. job satisfaction
3. location

2 out 3 would do nicely ( i only say that cause i'm stuck in india)

1- Successful person is the one who is able to achieve what she/he wants.

2- by achieving what he/she wanted.

3-work hard and never give up.

i'm a successful person if i'm 1-good to my God 2-i'm a good husband and a good father of my children 3-happy with my job and have a business in hand :color:

The successful person in life he/she should have achieved his/her goals in life. Money by itself doesn't make a person successful as well as happiness by itself, it doesn't make a person successful.

I think His Majesty is a successful person by making our nation so advanced in that past 30 years and by ruling it in such a way which makes the whole world appreciate what he is. When I stand infront of a few people some people come and meet me and say "hi, where you from?" I answe them saying from "Sultanate of Oman" if the person is really good in general knowledge that person says "Oh, you're under Sultan Qaboose, a great successful man" when I hear that I'm feel very proud.

When I look at our nation and of what it has accomplished in the past 30 years I do feel like he is successful man.

A person who is successful in life should have achieved everything he/she wanted by hard working, and finding the new ways to his/her life. Like for example we get the lifestyle we want, we are getting what we've been dreaming for, we get the one we love, we get all our needs granted and god bless us with what all we wished for. Then I think we can call ourselves successful.

Success is worth the trouble, the effort, the commitment, the dedication, the perseverance. Of course it is worth it. The time will pass anyway; why not put it to constructive, productive use? Everybody benefits, nobody loses. The secret of human success lies in keeping things properly. People who keep their belongings in proper order are always successful in life. On the other hand, those who lack this quality can never achieve success.

What would I do to achieve my Success?

Punctuality, regularity and keeping our promises to everyone in all our activities are very important factors of success. We should do everything at its proper time. We should chalk out a program for our work, games, outings, rest and sleep, and stick to it strictly. By doing so, we shall be able to perform every thing in time and should not face any ebarrassment. We should never postpone today's work to tomorrow. Postponing our today's work to tomorrow is the cause of all troubles.

Time is something very precious. It is a well-known saying that, "Time and tide wait for no one". We should, therefore, appreciate the value of our own time and should not waste the time of others. I think an orderly life is the key to success. I also would like to add that every successful man in this world has a woman's hand for support and help. I am pretty sure, we need our love, wives or mothers to give us support and a push us from behind. I think I achieved the student of the year award because I had my fiancee's support always.

Define "Success"......

In my opinion i dont think anyone in this world is successful. It's such a materialistic word. The day a person finds success, that's the day he has enjoyed everything in life...A man with power will be looking for more power. He hasnt attained success. He will keep pursuing power for more success.

If he reaches his targets and goals in his life and everyone is pointing at him that he is really succesful.
